    wouldn't that be...ultima extreme...where instead of losing the primals as the fight goes on, he starts using more and more of their attacks in combination with his own abilities (aetheric boom, freefire, lazers, diffractive laser).

    also you are forced to deal with the infernal nail mechanic, the spiny plume mechanic, and titan's heart.

    It's going to take months before people have the new turns down to farm status. The new 'tomestones' will likely be restricted, as myth was, to force players to gear up slowly... thus making the newer turns more difficult than if you just wait and get the best gear.

    Example: I remember when my group first tackled Turn 1 way back in the day. We had to obey all of the mechanics, feed slimes to Caduceus several times... Now with all our great gear, we feed one slime before split and ignore all other mechanics. We can burn him down before our tanks come even close to being in serious trouble. Similarly, I remember when meeting the Turn 4 dps check was actually hard, and one dps messing up a rotation meant we would fail.

    Myth gear and coil gear lockouts put a 'cap' on how fast you could progress, and how 'easy' something is to farm. Granted, any skilled group will be able to get something down on farm status with mediocre gear... but a LOT of players will be hitting a wall for a very long time until they learn the mechanics and can handle it with ease.

    I'm looking forward to the new Leviathan battle, dungeons, and Coil Turns 6-9. Maybe we'll see a new level to CT (although it hasn't been mentioned?). I remember people complaining that 2.1 would not introduce enough, but I was more than content with the amount of content added. The people who play more than others won't be, but the majority will be happy.

    I doubt you are going to walk in and one shot everything. that might be the case, but assuming the new turns are tightly balanced it's going to take a bit to kill them before they go on farm mode.

    personally I prefer raiding coil only one night a week

    Sorry, but I don't really want 4-5 hours of playtime even with the content on farm. If SE wants to give us new dungeons and raids every patch then so be it and support them! Let them give it to us a little bit at a time. 3 months is plenty of time to get geared up and learn the 4 turns for most people. It's the ones that have to be server firsts that run out of content.

    The reason why 1-5 takes like 1 hour to finish now is because everyone has all full 90 gear. When 6-9 come out everyone won't have the best gear anymore so its going to be hard for at least 2-3 months.
