    New to PvP. Seeking guidance.

Now I understand that PvP is a whole different story in this game. In fact the first PvP match I had was today. The way it went was: my team doing /facepalms, me running out of the gate to see people sprinting everywhere (to the point to where I thought they were speed hacking because they were running into walls for some reason), aaaand then I died with no damage on my belt.

Now I'm good at adapting and taking advice, but the advice I got from my teammate was, "If you are new, don't PvP. PvP isn't forgiving to new people." As much as I think that it is true that new people are at a disadvantage, to say to not PvP is kinda stupid.

I've read some posts on PvP on this thread, but I feel like they were more aimed towards players that already know how the system works (well).

Now if you were a nice person and had to give some friendly advice to help a newb out, what would that be? Because I know I could use any advice at the moment.

The best advice to give to anyone starting PvP is to NOT queue 50s. You have basically no skills, zero morale, and no real experience. 30s and 40s are perfect since morale doesn't apply there, wearing pretty garbage PvE gear will cap all your stats at those levels, and you can gain marks to start upgrading stuff so you can transition to 50s.

    ^ This.

You can continue to queue in 50s and basically lose every match, because with zero pvp gear your team might as well be missing a person. No offense, but it has nothing to do with your skill level. You'll be up against people in i90 pvp gear and you won't be able to do any damage to them, and when they see you are in pve gear they will target you and kill you in all of 3 seconds.

Save yourself and your potential teammates the torment and grind 30's and 40's to get experience and save up some points for i70 pvp gear.

You wouldn't go into Binding Coil with i50 gear... so don't pvp with bad gear, either.

if you have i70/90 pve gear don't waste your money on i55 pvp gear.

Thats one of things that i read and it is good to get some confirmation on that info. Thanks for the insight. If anyone else has some feel free to add it - even the pros still have things to learn, so i cant ever get enough
