Dishonest player make for obtain more final fantasy 14 game currency than honest player who play one character as developer of game intend. When you make for level two or more character of game you obtain two or more times currency as honest player which make for unbalance unfair experience of game for honest player. Dishonest player that makes cheat of level many alt should be punish for disrupt balance of final fantasy 14 game.

Oh please. If the developer of the game intended for this to be the only way to play our subscriptions wouldn't come with 8 character slots.

If developer want player for play multiple character then they would allow for multiple character alt to be accept of mail. 8 character upgrade of account are meant for family play, not for cheater to make inappropriate advantage and exploit of game.

People have been complaining about the non DB state of the game since 2010 and unability to trade to our alts without a second person to help(this took up to hours of my time in 1.0)
Doing quests and gaining more gil via DF/Roulette and quests on a alt is in no way cheating. The game was designed to allow us to have 8 characters on every single server. I myself maxed out most of my jobs before ARR even came out. Playing on a alt isn't cheating in any sense of the word. All this means is people with more time on their hands and dedication to making money make more, which is how the world and mmo's work dear. Though yes for someone who can't play as much this may seem unfair it would equally be unfair to the person with a lot more game time to not be able to progress above the person playing for a few hours. My husband can't play until he is home from work, whereas I can as soon as the kids are taken care of and the house cleaned. It makes perfect sense I would make more money and have more done then he would.

On a side note this thread is for talking about how its unfair we cant delivery box the other 7 characters allowed by SE on our own server. SE designed the game this way and even on FFXI I can not only delivery box my alts I can have a lot more then 8 and can even trade then unique/rare items to boot because if you gather for yourself and to craft for the different crafts for yourself you tend to run out of inventory very very fast. Perhaps that Vanya set you paid ridiculous money for and is useless since the coil gods blessed you would be a lot more appreciated and used better by trading to your alt character rather then making 5,000 gil on a mind IV materia. Even if SE doesn't want to allow us to trade rare/unique items to our own account characters I would be happy even being able to toss all those crafting mats to my alt i prefer to craft on because my mains inventory just can't handle picking up a craft right now. (Though it could if I could delivery box some of this binded gear I would like to keep!)

the problem with all the unique/untradable gear is that we can't put any of it in the armoire which sucks, SE needs to either allow mailing unique/untradeable to other characters on your account or make it to where the armoire can hold all unique/untradeable gear

I have alts because I like the idea of having different races to better represent different classes/jobs. I should be able to easily transfer gil to my alt as I see fit. I fully support the OP.

Yeah, I don't like the idea of dumping my pre-relic(?) gear I got part of at lvl 45 and the rest at lvl 50 for each class. But I can't put it in the armoire, so I either have to waste precious retainer space or toss it. I guess I have no use for it anymore but it seems wrong. Guess I could turn it in for seals. The armoire is a joke. It's usefulness is so limited. Why even have it if its rarely even useful. And why does it reset spiritbond? You can't sell unique/untradeable items even if the spiritbonding is reset.

they wont allow this for the simple fact that it would be easy for RMT to funnel gil around to numerous accounts.

The amount of paranoid reasons to not do something in this game due to the rabid defense against RMT is getting beyond logical. Every MMO that I have played back to UO has had RMT, this is the first where something as simple (mailing to your own alts)and in every other game I have played is turned off.

About to unsub because I can't mail to alts. This is the single dumbest design decision in any mmorpg I've ever played. It matters ZERO that yes I could and have been doing everything on one character. It doesn't even require an explanation why people want to do this. Every single mmo I've played I've enjoyed having alts that support each other through crafting. It adds variety and allows you to get away for a while from the demands of a free company.

They are totally screwing the pooch with this idiotic restriction. And thus I'm gone. It's a shame, because it's an otherwise beautiful game. If you don't get it, you just don't get it.
