Eh I feel like people going on and on about how great WoW's combat is didn't do it too much. Nothing felt good about having to jam Sinister Strike every second and plenty of AOE was misleading. Defile was famously bigger than the effect and Blackhorn's Warstomp was something that functioned sort of similarly to how AOEs do in ARR. The thing is it's not a huge adjustment, anyone who has played a fighting game understand that some moves take time to come out. Also I think most people would have been able to discover the animation delay on their own while leveling up too.

I honestly like attack animations looking cool over whatever ease of jamming buttons as fast as possible WoW ever provided me with. My tank and rogue ALWAYS looked stupid during combat.
