Nope, that was my quote since seeing as a lot of people have said that it is 100% SE wouldn't that make all of their MMOs unplayable? Slow or fast, MMOs can indeed be unplayable. And again, false equivalency is false. XI doesn't have 1 shot kills if you have 1 second of lag. That's what makes having lag in this game "unplayable."

So the location of the data server is the problem.... who placed the data servers where they did?

Also allyra is bringing up valid points, and not over reacting.
SE can't fix the internets problems which do exist, but they can optimize and that's all we are asking for.
This is what the beta should have been used for, and they should have planned their server location better.

Which is what they did and it still didn't fix some people's issues, but it also helped others that used to have issues - What this means is, SE can only do so much when it's other companies having the actual problem.

So nerfing content is what's being suggested? Most people said changing polling from 0.3 to 0.1 would help the most :x

I honestly don't care what they do, just giving an example to say SE still can go further.

I don't use a single program to reduce lag because i refuse to pay for a second service to better use a primary service, and for this reason i had to just memorize and become a bot in battles with huge aoe radius like titan ex. unfortunately that's the only way to do and end game living away from the server and playing with around 200 ping.

If you're R0 and you're chainspell stunner, for example, you can wipe - Remember Dynamis Xarcabard when that was a tactic? What if your chainspell stunner R0s for 1 second and misses the stuns?

Just because XI is slower doesn't mean latency issues can't affect the gameplay.
