I'd like to see interaction between the blue bird and the coeurl kitten (sorta like what we get now /w pup and kitten), i.e have the kitten take swipes at the bird, or have the bird swoop at the kitten.

I've wanted duelling Tonberry's since the start!

the 8-mans are doable with 3 or 4 people (+ chocos), if you're decently geared.

I guess I've been luckier than most.

I only started doing Boarskin maps maybe 2 weeks ago, maybe 1 per day or a little less as I tend to forget.

Gotten 2 Tonberry Minions so far.

I dont even try for the Bluebird one, odds are just too insanely small for one to drop and then you're rolling against 7 others for it.

The rules in my FC are simple and they solve this. If it's your map you get all the need/greed items. Random drops fall where they fall. So for us it would be a simple answer. If it's my map it's my Blue Bird. Every group has it's rules.

Thats a very fair way to do it.

My FC is just too housing obsessed atm. They do 8 man maps but everyone is expected to turn over what they get to an officer for contribution to the housing fund. And yes, I'm shopping around for a better FC, trust me. =)

I'm at 34 Boarskins now and still no minion. Decided today to take a break from Boarskin for a while and work on the others for the achievement. Gotta take a break from hitting my head against that particular wall.

Well, I hope you find your Tonberry; trust me, I know the feeling. I must have done about 30 Goatskin Maps and I have yet to see a single Blue Fox Hide. I just want to make my own Highland Set... But, take the bad with the good! Even though I've yet to get what I'm looking for, I did manage to snag a vial of Ahriman Tears, so I can make a piece of Ahriman furniture at some point, haha! I'm sure you've found a few nice things out of all those maps, too.
