Seen this plenty of times now. Gotta say FXIV is the worst mmo community I've ever played with.

Funny thing about that.. I hear it in every MMO forum I walk into for any game.. ^^;;

Every community is going to have its share of elitists and jerks, that won't change.

But man, 8 times in a row... Maybe I was exaggerating. Maybe it was 7. It was just a lot.. Fortunately (or unfortunately), only 2 of them actually passed. But you can guess what it does to the party's morale when you know someone in there has already plans to abandon ship..

It was almost instant queues for me, and well I never lie about my experience in DF. If it was my mistake I'd say it was my bad and went on to keep trying. Is it that gamebreaking for people not to win on their first few tries?

If it was a JE DF, I'd be prepared for not understanding some of the Japanese players. But as a half decent person you'd think people be more communicative..

You're gonna run into people with no patience it sucks i know At least you admit to your mistakes, My first time doing darkhold the tank was having a go at me calling me a crap healer because i wasn't sitting there spamming cure on him.

What exactly are you expecting in this thread? SE forcing people to stay until X amount of wipes? Awareness that grouping with 7 random people is random?

Just use PF and make sure you state it's a learning group. If you choose to use DF, accept it for what it is: the good, the bad and the ugg.

Hehehe.. I haven't been brave enough to try Ex primals in DF.. though maybe if I wanted tank practice ...

CT though has gotten better, still get the occasional stinker alliance, but for the most parts groups can successfully clear without too much trouble.

See, that's the problem here. I think it's because it's considered the norm for people to be afraid of trying. I don't think people should come into a game, want to try out stuff, and get intimidated by some anonymous person. They could argue you're wasting their time, and as it seems everyone is selfish, including me. Just selfish in a different way, but I honestly don't think people who are left behind in clearing content should be intimidated to even try. (Unless it was clearly stated in a PF group EXPERIENCED ONLY, then that's a whole different story. I also despise people who lie about their experience.)
