Think were just trying to figure out if lets say.. I90 Gear is better than Crafted PvP gear and such. Just so we can save time on the farm. I'm not sure myself, but im making by just fine with I90 pve and a mix of i70/55 pvp acessories.

I am especially curious on the damage (in and out) difference with morality. Does it effect healing at all? owo? If not, is the damage factor just pure intensity or does it dramatically change the min/max values?

As long as there is no math behind this, then we are only assuming. Yes, Morale should be better, but knowing the point for point value can go a long way.

Give me a day and I'll set up an outline of a good test to run. If other people think it looks good we'll take volunteers and get together a group to try it out. I've got nothing to do during class today anyway.

crafted pvp gear is a waste, your not going to survive any longer in that than you would darklight.

Wear the i90 stuff you have and fill in the missing pieces with i70 pvp gear when you can afford it then gradually replace the i90 stuff with i70 pvp gear unless its got your best secondary stat on it

I suppose Crafted Gear can be utilized for those who absolutely cannot get i70 PvE gear at all. Only then would it be acceptable. Other than that, it is seriously bottom tier. Even compared to PvE pieces.

Somewhat relevant but as a SCH is it potentially worth getting the "tanking" PvP accessories over the healing ones? Since the best healing comes from Lustrate anyway.

    Just a thought...

It is. Until your getting I70 stuff. Only Caster/Healer is available to you from the vendor.

Well it is if you feel like tanking :<

You will be missing a lot of mind, so your heal may be a bit . . .Sub Par. And no one likes a sub par healer in PvP.

there is no simple point for point value for any stat, the math that people have done shows this. Hidden variables make 1 point of STR for MNK different then 1 point of STR for LNC.

If you wanted an accurate picture of the value of morale it would be dependant on the class your playing, current gear, opponents and their gear

That's an assumption right now though. Because as long as 0 testing has been done for actually gathering numbers we don't know that. Morale could simply be a tacked on % change for all we know.

You have to test with one simple attack with preferably 100 potency flat. Impulse Drive into the face would be a good skill as base, do note that Auto attacks are 80 potency. Theoretically, STR is worth more to MNK than it is to DRG due to Greased Lightning effect under almost every circumstances, just like how Crit is always worth more to a Monk in PvP than in PvE cause you cannot say abuse Bootshine effect due to PvP fickle nature.

As far as preliminary observation, it is safe to say 1 STR > 1 Morale > 1 Determination. (In fact I believe 1 Morale is at least worth 4-5 Determination, that is not even counting it's defensive component). Problem with the test is that each of the 3 stats affect each other in a multiplicative level. And it has been tested that STR DMG increase is based off STR + % from base. Aka if you have 100 STR Base having 20STR extra would cause you to do 20% more damage.
