This is an amazingly stupid feature. Really 50%? Should be 75% or 6/8 or 3/4 not 12 freaking people. This is the dumbest implementation yet.

The one who initiates the vote does not count, so it's actually more than 50%.
And for CT that would be the initiator + 12, for 13/24.

If half the people are sick of wiping to easy thing, and want to leave who is anyone to force them to stay?? How is wanting to leave abuse??
Not enough Facepalms

It's not so much that people wanting to leave is abuse, the problem is that it forces everyone to leave. If I'm at King Behemoth and one party is failing horribly and wants to abandon, I'd gladly let them if I can keep the progress up to that point.

Solution: Vote Abandon kicks people who vote yes (when more than 2) only. That's what it is there for after all, people who are going "This isn't working" and want to leave without eating a 30 minute downtime. Everyone else remains and can refill the party and not lose the progress.![]()

What happens if u don't vote at all!! Is this a yes or a no after a period of time, or the vote never terminates????

Actually, this sort of thing happened to me last week, sort of. I was queued in-progress and joined a 0/4 group. When I popped into CT, there were maybe 3 or 4 other people in Alliance A with me, and nobody in the other alliances. Apparently nobody from the original group was still left, either, because everybody was asking what happened and nobody seemed to know. Within 5 minutes, all the alliances filled up and we had a very smooth run.If half of the raid voted to abandon raid, that would be 12 players you'll need to wait to be filled... you honestly think waiting for 12 "in progress" players is a good idea? not to mention that the poor guy who joined the "in progress" raid is now left with no option but to wait for the other 11 slots to be slowly filled.
This thread basically highlights forum mentality when it comes to which opinion is the majority and which is the minority:
"I want things to be implemented that would satisfy the majority of players. Unless I happen to be in the minority in this instance. Then I hate it and it shouldn't be done"

The TRUE TRUE problem here is that Atomos, while cool in theory, is a pretty poorly designed battle. It creates discrimination against melee, and sometimes makes it so melee have to stand there with contributing nothing (which I've had to do before). The idea of an Alliance's actions effecting another Alliance is cool but they could have done it much better.
Also, I know that trading people is common but still..it's DF dungeon and there shouldn't need to be swapping like that.
