The correct FC for coil progression is actually Fairy. Pls consists mainly of former members of Fairy, so for now the people that did the clear are for the most part, if not entirely are in Pls. Just saying this so it's clear that Fairy is the correct FC name even though it no longer does any hardcore progression.

What do you mean correct FC for coil progression? As in Fairy should have the server firsts for everything? We all talked about moving the server first credit over with the raiders as they moved to Pls.

That does leave out at least Yifu, who was leading t5 and the FC at the time of kill. Why not give credit where credit is due? If that's how you want to write history that's fine, but I what about accuracy? I also like how you mention "everything" yet Fairy isn't even on this list. From my experience the fc that downs something gets credited by name, despite any political stuff or drama. In this situation I suppose there isn't anyone around with evidence or power enough to call it out. It's fine in a sense I suppose since pretty much everyone that did it is in there, and this way people can connect the credit with Pls that has most of the people in it today...but how Fairy isn't even listed on this progression page proves that it's influenced with a bias against Fairy to not mention it at all. Pretty cowardly to edit history just to take all the credit. Guess I'm a different kind of person that prefers records of history, no matter how significant, to be 100% accurate.

According to this, having Pls on there at all for a server first is incorrect, sorry to say. What you're doing is replacing credit for a FC with credit for an individual group, which is actually breaking the "rules" of this thread, which either the author is a hypocrite or isn't aware of this (doubtful). Fairy was the first to do all of that, despite any drama (over only letting the seemingly best people do t5 to get it down first, why would everyone leave the FC for that...it just makes sense to use the best for the hardest fight in the game temporarily...unless there's more to it I didn't hear about lol). I guess this is all OK though since Yifu isn't around to post proof though huh...And maybe I'm the only one that even cares, and doesn't like people incorrectly writing history to meet their own ends. Just write Fairy (pls) at least so you still get credit and are historically accurate.

Yifu moved over to Pls and he was the last to do so. That is when talks about switching server firsts happened.

My post was made merely because this bothered me as a history buff, none of this is personal or against Pls (Tea Party) which I actually have no issue with. The people in there I either already know from old Fairy, or seem to be good sorts of competent people if I don't know them. I probably did get a little personal though haha, I tend to go off sometimes when I shouldn't and that certainly hasn't done me any favors in life, so I apologize for any undue offense that may have seemed personal due to my misunderstanding of some things as they happened, and my passion gets in the way sometimes. I still stand by what I said since it's a principle for me in life, but I probably should not have been as abrasive/offended as I was. I just didn't want for Fairy to not be documented on anything, despite politics, because that was what happened at the time, whether we like it or not. Although if you're telling me Yifu himself was cool with this, then it's ok in a sense. Guess I'm just being anal about it lol.

I have nothing against the people in Pls really and I had fun playing with them in Fairy. The whole split drama thing I'm pretty neutral about, since I wasn't a part of it personally. I heard a lot of the drama got kicked up by a guy who ended up being a gold seller (Kaz I think?), and I only ended up staying in Fairy because that's where my raid group stayed. Well at least the leader of the raid group and most of the others ended up staying, though 2 of our healers did go over to Pls when it happened which threw a wrench in it a little, lol. Despite all the split stuff I don't hold any grudges because I can't judge people for making a decision about something when I don't have enough evidence to know all of the context and events, as I've been a part of guild splits multiple times in my MMO career. There's usually people that kick up a ruckus that don't know the whole story (and kicking up a ruckus is not my intent here >.>). In the past with that, even if the guild that did the kill dissolves quickly after or some kind of split happens, in my experience the name of the guild that kills it is always recorded but a reference to the current guild that has most of the people in it today is referenced by (xxxx). I'm just here to make sure Fairy isn't completely forgotten as a part of this server's history for accuracy's sake, that's all.
