honestly i wish i would stop to but SE just keep going the lazy route with EVERYTHING, they make it to easy to hate. Maybe if the armor wasnt just recolored Battlemage or Darklight gear i wouldve tried pvp for the vanity it it looks like 2 other sets i already have just 1 color.

I wish the I90 stuff was gear you could use in the game and not just PvP. Can you use the gear in the game or do you lose something by doing that?? I have not messed around with this too much.

You can use it anywhere at all, but the losses are in the fact that you don't get bonuses from Materia melded to the gear outside of PvP, and you lose one of the two secondary stats on all gear because Morale takes the place of one - Morale having no effect outside of PvP.

Despite this, several pieces are still BiS for their respective jobs outside of PvP because they give secondary stats that can't be found on other pieces of i90 gear. For instance: Direwolf healer boots give +21 Crit, and despite not granting a second secondary stat like Spell Speed or PIE, it doesn't matter since Crit can't be found on any other i90 healer boots, thus making them BiS for Scholar. The same goes for the healer ring (Scholar) and the caster gloves (Summoner). I don't know which melee pieces, if any, are BiS.

just throwing this little request out there

any rank 30 bards on here have your direwolf chest piece? i saw that it was basically the foestriker's tabard, which was one of my favorite armors (aesthetic-wise) and with vanity slots supposedly coming in 2.2 i wants it! hopefully SE will let us vanity slot items that aren't according to our class


extra brownie points if it happens to be dyed with soot-black or snow-white
