OMG! 25k dmg within 1 min! that's like more than 400dmg/s average , most class would be dead within 13 seconds without heals! 25k dmg out of a total of 34k damage! he/she was doing 74.79% of the party's damage!

I think SquareEnix have either poor game testers for them to miss this fact or poor judgment if they knew about this and went along with it.

If this is accurate it's almost pointless using other dps class for pvp.. you don't have the armor to take hit and your damage is shit compared to 25k/min. The blm was doing 4143 dmg (12.16%) that is not even 1/4 the dmg that SMN was making!


shit at this rate maybe 4 SMN party can do a dungeon having the pets tank each mob while focusing one 1 target at a time killing it fast, no need for other type of class/job!

Clicking is not good. It's far slower than keybinds, which isn't as big of a deal in this game as it has a long GCD, but it's still inefficient and slow.

Keyboard turning and backpedaling is the same.
You shouldn't run around saying "people who complain about summoners are just baddies" when you've made it pretty apparent that you don't know basic PvP strategies like that.
No wonder you mentioned not being able to cast on people who run around you.

I'm sure if healers knew how to actually CC/Heal and do dmg, this thread wouldn't even exist. The fact stands you fail to utilize your healer to help you do quack. If you expect us to only keep HP's up then ofc you wouldnt even last half a minute against a summoner. And just to be fair, I prefer going against a SMN/SMN versus any other variation. If folks learned to get Purity maybe all those dots wouldn't be such a issue. And Yes I know Purity has a hecka of a long CD. That's still not excuse to not get it, your wiping out all the "Bazlliions of op dots" and moar from one skill. Leave the rest to your healer to buff your party and debuff your enemies. I've yet to use a enhanced version of focalization with fey covenant (rather stacking or side by side) to troll SMN (or any magic class). Because Virus/SS/Leech is all I ever needed.

All I gotta say to the SMN's who think otherwise.

That's not really a decent point when anybody would die just as quickly, if not faster, when they had 3 people sitting on them and not being peeled (seriously your team had a BLM, how does this even happen)
Yet again, they're not any easier/harder to overwhelm than any other class. They just have the option of near-instantly killing you instead.
