Good Black Mages just walk to the side and dodge the attack, it isn't that hard. Manawall has better uses in that fight. You know.. like for an actual emergency and need to mitigate damage. I think its a waste to be using it on a landslide of all things.

When you've run titan 100 times you get bored? I know I have. Not to mention frustrated. Good BLM's? I have run into maybe 2 on my server. 99% don't understand the concept of 'abandon your spell and get out of the way'. They think their cast is much more important than survival. I see no use for manawall anyways on titan. Manaward yes, but not wall. Manawall doesn't block stomps, or crushes or plumes. It's good for punches but if you're a "good" BLM, you should never need to use it. If you can't dodge AOE, you shouldn't be in the fight :P Also, re-read the title of this thread. Apparently you don't understand the topic here.

If you can't do enough DPS to defeat Heart phase and actually require to use Manawall so you can be up to pace to do enough damage that means you are already bad at being a black mage. I've never had a problem in this phase but it also has to do with your party members DPS as well.

It's not that I need to, I use that resource because it improves my DPS. If you can't understand such a simple fact perhaps the only solution for you would be /uninstall.

Your argument is a falacy anyway. "Hey, I have this skill that allows me to stay still and not have to interrupt my casting, but I'm not going to use it because I'm le good le 1337 le beastmode ON".

I've found that there is always a player that outshines everyone in a Titan HM run...and thats the guy who sits in the landslide because he has 0.8s left of his cast!

You run to the side for bombs, run back to dps him, then he uses his landslide, you panic stop to run backwards and eat the landslide, I swear that wasn't me, yeah, I think I got away with it. *slyly walks away*
