Stupid and Funny Things People Do In Titan HM

I was tanking him just fine in one particular run. I qued up just to help people in the DF. However with the FC I run with I'm not used to anyone EVER running in front of titan. The circle bombs came out and I was typing to the group to go to the center because someone wasn't moving. Meanwhile a mnk runs in front of the boss to dodge the bombs so he could keep dpsing and the mnk got landslided (meaning it was on me too) and I panicked and couldn't get out of the chat window and got knocked off the edge. I was mad that a dps went in front of titan but landslide is trivial to dodge so I was mad for typing too....

Moral of the story, type in titan, and you die.

So I was doing a HM Titan run (this was when I haven't really done him yet) and I didn't quite get why people called Weight Plumes, I got that Ifrit does plumes and its similiar but weight is barely longer to spell and is the actual move.

Anyway so I ask the party why they call it plumes to which they replied "Why not?" so from then on I pledged that I would call Landslides Fish, because why not?

So guy gets hit by landslide and I go "DUDE YOU GOT FISHED SO HARD" and well from then on Landslide was Fish.

My FC calls Mountain Buster Table Flip... (I'm sure others do too)

I am guilty of doing this 100% of the time. You wouldn't believe the chats I've been through with "OMGZ HAKKS LOLZ LOSER" and "How the hell are you doing that???!! What's the glitch??"

I love every second of it. Yet any other BLM I play with never seem to use it, and I'm usually always the last one standing

People call it table flip because that's what it is in this chart that 90% of the people who have it on farm use when they do the fight.

Also as a paladin, I feel pretty noob for not using "Tempered Will" when I got landslided. I always forget about it, but it prevents knockbacks so you don't get knocked off. I use it on Wall in AK so I can stay put when I have the adds.

Hitting "Evasive Jump" by accident and catapulting yourself off the cliff.

That has only happened to me once -- during the cross-Bomb pattern. Most embarrassing thing I've done in the game.

I make sure to take it off my bar for Titan fights now.

Just for once in Titan HM or Titan story mode, I want to be that Dragoon that uses Illusive jump as soon as the position lock is removed to make the whole PT go LOL WTF DRG.

EDIT: Dang it... just found out from Twitter you can't jump off until Titan first breaks the barrirer... Didn't even know it was a barrier... O.O

Manawall allows us to stay still and not have to interrupt our castings to dodge a landslide, especially useful during the heart phase...

If you can't do enough DPS to defeat Heart phase and actually require to use Manawall so you can be up to pace to do enough damage that means you are already bad at being a black mage. I've never had a problem in this phase but it also has to do with your party members DPS as well.

Good Black Mages just walk to the side and dodge the attack, it isn't that hard. Manawall has better uses in that fight. You know.. like for an actual emergency and need to mitigate damage. I think its a waste to be using it on a landslide of all things.

I tried to jump across the outer edges to dodge a Weight of the Land once. Didn't work too well.

I think Landslide is the only attack that you can use Manawall on preemptively. I mean it probably works on Mountain Buster but it's not like you're going to say "BLM has Manawall up so let's turn Titan toward his direction before a MB".
