    Opening video Lag

    FFXIV runs smooth but something i noticed is the opening movie or the movie that displays on the launch menu from not doing anything shows up those videos lag badly. In game I have no problem. Does anyone know what might be at fault? I originally thought it was the video card going bad having trouble playing the videos from the ffxiv launcher So i bought a new video card and FFXiv runs even smoother but the 2 opening videos still lag .

    Please give your PC specs
    I tested it but it doesn't lag for me. The video is capped with 100 fps.

    Try playing the opening movie while running the game in a window. Borderless or bordered, it shouldn't matter. Does the video play smoothly now?
