Explain to me how getting rid of certain vendor items that permanently
destroy gil instead of circulating it through the "ECONOMY" is hurtful. I'm waiting.
Tell me something then, what do you do when there is too much supply and not enough demand.

When I read your post, my first thought was "who the hell buys all their gear from vendors?"

Vendor NPC's role in any MMO is to set maximum prices for various common goods in the game. People can make and sell them for cheaper, so you don't usually buy from the NPC unless the convenience outweighs the cost to you.
