^^^^Like they said...just write the macro if you are not wanting to do it manually.

Playing since Beta phase 3
So...first of, just no. It doesn't take that long for 1 healer to Protect/SS 4 people (which is technically all they'd ever have to do since parties are either 1:4 or 2:8 healer:member ratios)
That said, we're only level 50. This is NOT endgame. Maybe we WILL get an AoE Stoneskin Spell at a higher level. Who knows.
But really, I typically am waiting on 1-2 party members to even stop 'viewing cutscene' let alone behind on my buffs. Typically I have at least half of the party SS'd before the final person is even out of their CS and I can actually cast protect.
So...what's your rush?
Yeah, because WHM is sooooo hard to play without having to recast buffs. I've played tanks on my other character, and healers and DDs on this one. WHM is BY FAR the easiest job to play of them all, sooooo, I don't get it. Why are you complaining again?Like to see Whms get auto protect & stoneskin everytime they enter a dungeon or fight or restart a fight after a wipe. Would make playing healer much more enjoyable not having to reapply those buffs all the time after a wipe. Have it trigger when players are stuck within the circle barrier at the beginning of every dunegon or fight.
Yes, no? Good feature to have?
to be fair stoneskinning dps before encounters is pretty much a waste of time to begin with.
it's such a small amount on them that getting hit will strip it and hit them hard enough to require healing afterwards anyways

Also an auto heal mode , so healers only have to move into correct position to avoid AOE while the heal spells will work automatically. You could also just go auto follow on a DPS instead and go watch a movie maybe?
Another cool idea would be auto taunt for tanks .
so... you having to use a extra cure to cure them wasting mp in mid combat & titan stomps doesn't remove stoneskins got ya since the dps can dodge it. Good to know.
I also think this could be addressed by making an out of combat group stoneskin. Then it's just protect and group stoneskin.
Some like selecting each person and waiting a couple seconds, but I'm fine skipping it. It also would let me put stoneskins on dps without making people wait.
+1 for group stoneskin, make it auto does not saves time
it just plain lazy
To be honest, I'd be happy if they gave Scholar our 18% stoneskin trait and gave WHM the ability to cast an AoE version of it as compensation. It feels weird having to re-skin players who already have the buff simply because the Scholar version is inferior to our own. Yes, that goes for Protect too.I also think this could be addressed by making an out of combat group stoneskin. Then it's just protect and group stoneskin.

I really hope you're not a healer, because that kind of thinking is what gets people killed.
Damage mitigation is never wasted. It's either cures which don't need to be used later or a hitpoint buffer if they're attacked with a big hitter. I've seen plenty of DPS get hit by the bosses big skills (mostly melee) and stoneskin can be the difference between them dying or surviving the assault.
