Oh no, what a disaster that would be.The problem with this is premade groups would just abuse and pass to the person who actually 'need' the item.
It's not like the item is going to drop every run and be piss easy to obtain.
But every item that drops would be 100% obtainable. Your suggestion is just a way to bypass the lock out entirely. It is so exploitable it's not even funny. Every single run will result in 100% chance of all 4 items being obtainable for someone in your party. After 2 runs, your party would have obtained guaranteed 8 items. After 3 runs they would have 12, and so on. A single evening of raiding could easily net your party 30+ items from a dungeon that is supposed to have a single item weekly lock out.
Just fucking happened to me. This was my 17th run on Crystal Tower this week in search for a specific loot. After third boss dropped a Onion Sarouel, Drg gear. I was like damn 3rd drg drop in this run and then mid final boss BAAM: you obtained a onion sarouel blabla placed on the inventory. I didn't even rolled on the item! I don't even have a fucking dragoon leveled up to use that shit and its taking inventory space so Im gonna have to discard it. Now, for the love of god Square Enix fix that damn problem for future patches!
btw i have a picture proving that i didn't roll on the item
My boyfriend came out of a lagging CS and found himself last in his party and stuck with gear. Sometimes you are just stuck with it. I'm going to stay in CT after I lot so this doesn't happen to anyone else in my PT... at least until they fix it.
Again, I don't really see why a lockout needs to be in place to begin with. This isn't even fantastic gear. But every item that drops would be 100% obtainable. Your suggestion is just a way to bypass the lock out entirely.

Everything from the second paragraph on explains why your reasoning is unsound. 'It was this way before, so you should know better' is not a valid response.
If you don't understand why letting people gather complete sets of ilevel 80 gear in a matter of days is a bad thing for the point the game is at right now, then I don't know how to respond to you in any meaningful or effective way. Your reasoning will only make sense after an expansion when the level caps and ilevel tiers are significantly higher.

If the gear was top tier stuff, I would see your point. It isn't.If you don't understand why letting people gather complete sets of ilevel 80 gear in a matter of days is a bad thing for the point the game is at right now, then I don't know how to respond to you in any meaningful or effective way. It is one step removed from top tier. Handing it out like candy at this point, which is what either of your 'solutions' equates to, is a ridiculous game design concept. Even getting ilevel 70 gear takes more time than that right now and that has been greatly accelerated.
