Personal housing price specuation

Does anyone even believe this is coming any time soon? If they weren't ready for FC housing, how are they going to be ready for personal? I would love to see it as it could revitalize the game/markets.

I really hope they make personal housing accessable to all via cheep entry prices for the minimum housing options, and making the extravagent houses expensive in comparison.

Personal housing will likely be cheap, and also likely be nothing like folks seem to imagine it will be. Folks seem to believe that it will be set up like FC housing, with zones full of plots of land and stuff to develop, but I find that notion to be extremely unlikely. Even FC housing is already more than SE's servers can handle, with a mere 450 houses per server. Personal housing done in the same way would need to accomodate at a minimum ten times as many homes.

In my server the Smallest FC house cost 8 millions. So i think probably around 1 mil will be price. I wanted to be realistic with the prices.

For me a "Just" Price could be 150 - 250k in Non Legacy server.

According with Square, the amount of money circulate in legacy server is High than Non Legacy server, so i expect the prices be higher in those servers.

It doesn't boggle mine, I'd say 2~3 mil is very affordable even for non-legacy servers.
You can generate 20k+ gil per day by doing dungeons alone.

No, you won't have the gil by tomorrow. It takes work, don't want to? Then don't do it, but do not expect handouts.

The work should be in upgrading and decorating, not just accessing the content... Just as the work in Coil comes from fighting the bosses, not clicking on the entrance point.

In an MMO that (re)released in 2013, when there are housing systems in the market miles above FFXI's system, we have every right to expect more than that from Squee. I'm not saying it's what we'll get, but I am certainly going to be disappointed in them if they drop the ball again. Asking people to set their expectations low for a product is a sure-fire way of receiving a substandard product and horrible consumer practice.

Probably the same or more as FC housing on legacy servers. Since even now only a handful have bought houses so obviously there is still a few individuals with ALL the gil which cause the system to be designed to try and remove their fortunes in particular. Screwing over everyone else in the process.

I did remember them saying it was 6 months down the track from 2.1, so people will have MORE gil by then.
