One of the reasons they are so high now is because se can't handle the load, the high prices is to discourage people from buying.

so why discourage ppl to buy something there not selling even if you call it a sort of beta test for the housing there not testing there limits much when nobodies buying at there bullshit prices smarter thing would have been to encourage ppl to buy and break it then fix it

I'm only concerned at how small they will be, they seem to think a small FC house that's no larger than our inn room is enough for multiple human beings. I'd hate to imagine what they think a single person could manage with.

It doesn't boggle mine, I'd say 2~3 mil is very affordable even for non-legacy servers.
You can generate 20k+ gil per day by doing dungeons alone.

If they make it like Guild Housing, where you lose it if you don't use it frequently enough, it'll basically turn off a large group of people from it. I know the last thing I'd want is to drop 1, 2, 3 Million Gil on a personal house only to lose it all because I took a 3 month break or something.

Hopefully they do it right and just give everyone a house. Then if you want to upgrade it to be bigger etc. it will cost you gil.

Same reason they add the mounts and "cool" rewards for having been subbed for a long time, and encourage to pay in advance, a lot of time.

Well, the typical japanese apartment. As you see on the picture, the couple sleep there (the old man is probably just a guest, i cannot see his futon). Bathroom and shower are probably shared externally, as much wouldn't surprise me if a corner of that apartment had the micro shower and micro toilet

Well assuming you are on an FC owning a house mid and big (am i wrong or small houses will not have any room for members? Where you put guestroooms, considering it's a single floor already occupied by furniture ) the price will probably be around 30-35% of the house price (based on the server's price).
Aka fail content noone is looking forward except a few players worldwide.
