I do this more often then I care to admit on both paladin and warrior as tomahawk/shield lob is right next to flash:

I run to the mobs and do flash at max range, curse, all the while running past the mobs that all run to the healer. I die a little inside whenever that happens. :'')

Also, whenever on warrior I'm about to use bloodbath+berserk, I usually end up clicking defiance off which is just between them two.

Couldn't you just.. move skills so that they're efficient rather than in the worst possible positions?

All these shield oath issues go away less and less as you tank. After causing so many fails due to not having it on, it begins second nature to double check and make sure its on every time you pull!

I still forget to use it sometimes or forget to pop Fight or Flight before the pull.

I was in Crystal Tower last night and it was a nightmare of stupidity on my part. I always go in as my Paladin as I'm collecting the WoL set on him (Myth is going to my Warrior). I've been extremely lucky with drops, so I've only been in the place 5 or 6 times.

So, we get to Behemoth and the person that speaks up as MT is a little under geared and dies while tanking him. We wipe. Personally, I've only ever done the towers and the giants a few times, but I offer to tank behemoth because my gear is better. So, I grab the boss, go to the 11 o'clock position I see other tanks use and start tanking. Everything's going well until he does the second meteor. I run behind the closest comet, but don't notice that there's a tornado very close behind it. I die to the tornado... derp numero uno.

The next round, I'm tanking again and after the first meteor, it appears that Behemoth has dropped a tornado in my tanking spot. Not wanting to die a second time to a Tornado, I try to move him to around 9 o'clock and the raid goes bonkers... Behemoth also destroys the tower there while I'm trying to re-position him... I die again (at this point, I think the healer lets me die on purpose as he then makes a rude comment and leaves the group). Derp numero two. I'm so frustrated at this point, I leave as well.

Combine this with a few other things like the same healer letting me die twice on Thanatos when I would provoke after becoming a ghost because he was "to busy healing the pot".. don't ask me what the other healer was doing. It's not like I would die quickly either. They'd have up to a whole minute to throw a heal at me and simply wouldn't. They would also rez me and then not heal me once I was rezzed. I would have to run to the side and attempt to heal myself. Also, on the first round with Behemoth when I was on a tower, both healers wouldn't heal me (even after asking for a heal when my HP was down to 1.5K) and I was forced to spam cure on myself and ended up dying anyway standing at the tower. We also had a loud mouthed black mage who wouldn't shut up the whole time. Talking bad about the other parties and being overly obnoxious.

I'm not trying to put my failures off on the group, because I made some stupid mistakes as well, but the whole alliance seemed to be full of aholes, which certainly didn't help.

So I play warrior a lot more then I do my pally (99% warrior 1% pally), ending up joining a pug as I do most weeks for a t1-4 full run while having some fun along the way, but they needed a paladin for silences in the first 2 turns so I offered myself as a paladin.
Turn 2 was loads of fun, many derps were had on my end being baited by casts and trying to silence Repelling Cannons instead of High Voltage, luckily enough the group I was running with kinda understood I never really played paladin and wasn't used to the timings, amazingly enough silencing ADS wasn't as difficult. Didn't take long to get used to but damn I felt bad whenever I was juked by those adds prior to ADS.

I think I've killed everyone on Twin a couple times running around while repositioning her and getting myself one shot by the bug zapper wall.

Oh, also, forgetting shield oath for Titan Extreme and eating two mountain busters. Yep. That's a thing.

My party was doing Garuda EX. We killed the Spiny Plume and everyone ran to stand in the safe zone. The SCH put up his Sacred Soil. I ran over and stood in the blue dome but outside the green one and died instantly. Hurr.
