Has anyone else ever gotten the same weapon from Twintania 5 out of 7 times?

well we already know that square is really bad at making drop tables anybody remember the turn 1 dragoon piece every time?

just bad luck as far as the weapons go.
just as a for instance my group has done 9 clears and no monk drops yet and only 2 duplicate drops

It seems in general the only ones that are on the rarer side in general are the books for some reason

Drop rates are really weired. We did 6 times Garuda EX in follow and got 5 times the same melee ring. We did not have melees in the party.

I, for one, has seen the tank ring drop on Garuda EM the first 3 times we killed her in a row, which was fine with me since I'm a PLD main, but yeah, RNG is sometimes a bit wonky.

Were at 3 of 4 dragoon spears in our recent kills. Its getting a little old considering only the first was needed.

4 summoner books, 2 bows, 1 blm wand, mnk wep - the last 3 weeks have been smn books consecutively our group is pretty bumbed about it.

makes you grind and make its take longer to get what you need and thats the ancient design of gear drops.
people say it perfect though or "go back to wow.".

Why would people use the phrase "go back to wow"? Unless they changed it, besides token drops, the best weapon in the game dropped once from the final boss of the hardest raid and could be any classes weapon. Exactly like FFXIV: ARR.
