Guildhests: How to Activate?

Hello,
My question is regarding the activation of guildhests.
Until 2.1 implemented them into the story, i did not activate them, and i am having trouble figuring it out.
I am on story line quest "Hest of the Best" which requires me to "use the Duty Finder to undertake the guildhest "Hero on the Halfshell."
I do not have any guildhest in my DF. How do i activate them? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but this has caused me a great deal of frustration, and any help is appreciated. Thanks.

For everyone that has this problem, i think i might solved it.

I went to Swiftperch, nothing, went to Horizon, nada, finally i went to Bentranch Meadows or whatever its called, and bam, "Simply the hest" recieved and i got access to Guildhests.

Which city did your character start the game in? If it was Gridania, then maybe the answer is needing to unlock them in your home region (where you would have been if you had done it at level 10).

Yup. Unlocking Guildhests comes about naturally as a result of unlocking Guildleves in ARR. After completing some of the storyline content, the head of the Adventurers' Guild in your home city gives you an optional quest to unlock Guildleves. And once you've finished the sample leve that particular quest requires, you receive another quest to unlock hests (though that particular quest doesn't require you to actually complete a hest).

The way to unlock "Guildhest" is to talk to a guy named Swygskyf in Western La Noscea (34,31). He will give you a quest called "Simply Hest" (level 10). Complete that quest and you shall unlock Guildhest.

Ive unlocked it on an accident and didn't know how I did. I ask around and no knew. So I have restarted and figured it out. Took me four days but finally got it. Hope it helps!
