The world where white is not white and black is not black.
Where equipment got base colors you can't change and which will give you eye-cancer if you try to combine them with other colors.
A world where you can't wear items of different sets because even the colors you apply to them look different on each piece.
I will never forget the moment when I tried to dye my Militia Mitt Gauntlets to get rid of the ugly brown, and the only thing that changed was the small piece of leather around the arm.
Why can't the white I put on my Heavy Darksteel Armor be the same as the Valor Sollerets, and why is there no matching color for the blue on the Valor gear?
+1 for dyeing unique items
+1 for more dyeing options
I can understand why we can't dye Unique Items. And I honestly agree with not dyeing them. But I'd be able to live with it.
So consider this neutral I guess.
However.....I do NOT want to see anyone getting the ability to dye Artifact Armor. I don't want to see yellow Dragoons running around everywhere. We'd be a bunch of power rangers. Reds pinks yellows blacks...no. AF needs to stay its original color. It's one of the staples of Final Fantasy...it would be like having a bright yellow Master Sword. Just doesn't work...

the problem is many items should be able to be dyed (such as Acolyte and Foestriker sets, among others) while many others such as bathing suits(and other event items), AF and Relic shouldn'tI can understand why we can't dye Unique Items. So is there any word why we still got too look fruity with the gear colors they choose(mixed match crystal tower and mythic pieces is example) and have to look like the same players, but really fruity? At least let us dye the highlights of the gear or something this is a mmo. Last time i paid it was not a single player RPG.

Thing, is it is a mmo that we pay for monthly for and not a single player RPG , so if they would like to run around looking that way so be it . Heck maybe they have decided to have a guild that likes to run that style to stand out.I can understand why we can't dye Unique Items. And I honestly agree with not dyeing them. The staple of FF is there designs of the gear, and not there colors.

^ ofcourse if they make AF dyable we will see some pretty odd colors appear, not even talking about the people you know will be running around in pink versions of everything they get their hands on

/signed not enough variety
I disagree
However there definitely needs to be way more gear options at ALL levels

I would love to be able to dye my Monk gear once I get to i90. I don't really want to run around in a clan of bananas forever.![]()
