Lustrate and Benediction both ignore the healing debuff anyway. The main reason SMN is OP is because their damage output is higher than the rent in most states.I think main reason why smn is op is that ms effect if u have marauden and summoner on same target u get 75% healing reduction effect and with that its impossible get heal up without cooldowns especially without scholar. I think it would be good if both healing reduction effect would be max 25% and can not stack or both 15% marauden and smn if its stackable.
In that same statemnet Dragoons should be buffed too, because they are an Iconic class as well....... Do you actually take the time to read what you post?Summoner and Black Mage are comparable in damage I've globaled an entire team on my Summoner and I globaled an entire team on my Black Mage. There two of the most powerful and iconic classes in Final Fantasy the reality is they are fine where they are at and it should take an entire team to take them time if anything Summoners and Black Mages should be buffed and be more challenging to defeat.
Benediction cd is 5min? thats pretty unfair when scholar can spam Lustrate every 1min when whm can use Benediction only once.
I agree burst dmg need 2 fixed too but ms effect can not stay as it is now. Lustrate spam only give scholar huge adventage compared whm if ms effect is that high.

The main reason Summoner is OP is because it scales great with gear one new piece of gear can considerably increase or damage output. Also if you look at the pvp gear set it has higher stats than the pve gear. The Dire Wolf set which is ilvl pvp gives you the same stats as a full set of Darklight gear when you compare the base stats Intelligence, Critical Chance and Determination. I do slightly more damage than a Black Mage as a Summoner which is where there at in pve. If everything is optimal I 'll out damage a Black Mage by 20%.
There is one thing a Summoner can't defend against that is sleep there was a few matches where the healer would just camp me and sleep and every time it was almost off I would be slept again so Summoners can be shut down pretty easily and then my op damage will be zero.
Your healer was bad.
What would balance pvp is if they had 8v8 cause with 4v4 it relies to heavily on classes gear and skill with more people it should balance out certain classes and strategies. 4v4 pvp has the same issues as single player no matter what certain classes can easily kill others.
