This is actually probably the worst example. I don't even play that game and I know people buying max rank is actually a prevalent problem in every game they come out with.

MLB and NFL changes its rules every year. You're probably just not aware of the changes because they do not release patch notes for baseball. Customers complain about food selection at buffets all the time. CoD accounts do get powerleveled all the time, though they're not sold often because they have no value. People do sell XBLive or Steam accounts though.

Try getting some real world experience in these things before you come onto a forum spouting on about topics you clearly have no first-hand experience in.

    1. I think you're missing the point. There is a difference between accepting things as they are, striving for change, and simply complaining/whining. MLK, Ghandi, Mother Teresa (to name a few) did not whine. He gathered some people and said "don't you agree?" Please help me find where they said things were "stupid", "waste" or verbally assaulted those who made/maintained said policies.

    2. I find it proving my point that this post has received more views (and replies) than all my other suggestion posts.. Why is it easier and more fascinating for people to be negative than constructive?

    3. Just for reference, I've traveled across 2/3 the world.. I think I'm good on real world experience, but once again you are proving my point. And I would consider changing a rule to be vastly different than "adding new content" but that's just me.. If they add a fourth base to baseball or added an extra football you had to get across the line, that would be closer to "adding content", not deciding how to use instant replay. I haven't played much CoD, but I'm pretty sure I never got a popup saying I could buy a million game dollars for $19.95.

At the end of the day I guess I'm saying it's "amazing" how people feel how the fact it's the internet frees them from being polite. I've seen people be vocal about their dislike all the time, but not so much where it worked out for them. There's a man suing the NFL right now about the high price of Super Bowl tickets... Not going well for him, but at least he got some press because he didn't just stand in front of a stadium, scream some obscenities and walk away, or start yelling at the NFL fans. So why not bring more than a "I don't like" , bring ideas and civility. That's all. Have a nice day.

Fair point, but I was refering to how RMTs on MMOs are a constant threat to the in game economy...

We cannot continue this conversation until you stop comparing yourself to MLK and Ghandi. They fought against social injustices and crimes against humanity. We're talking about improving a business, a game developer's product in a virtual setting.

Because angry profane and unconstructive comments totally help improve the product

I, for one, will miss your epic contributions to the thread... all one of them. Also, I don't see any comparison by that poster between him- or herself and those people, just a paralleled approach to problem solving. To support their point as well, I can't recall any time when any of those three people said things to insult those whom they protested...

I'm not comparing myself to these people at all... You're right. These people made effectively world wide changes... Please give me an example of a person who changed a product who wasn't part of a company, but made evoked change in a product and I will gladly use it, but it's easier to go over the top (part of my point) than to pinpoint.

And thank you Peptaru for understanding...

(side note: My post with constructive ideas 8 replies post saying people should be use perspective when criticizing 20+.)
