But yeah, it's just human nature really. Same reason people wait to go to a doctor for medical issues, it's not enough of an inconvenience for them to go out of their way to get things resolved right away. So, they wait until their spleen is about to rupture then see the doctor, even though their side has been hurting for the last 3 months.

Anyway, Apocatastasis needs to be changed. It's so bad. I've found some use in freeze, but I've only used apocatastasis twice, and one of those was purely on accident.

I think Apocatastasis can use work. Even if it simply was a Manaward for the tank/other party member, it'd be decent step up.

That said, the above analogy is flawed. All the end game WHM weapons are 2-handed Staves. So there's no place for a shield currently.
I'm fairly sure that Buckler was already being added. A lot of 2.1 was meant to be released at launch and got delayed. The Buckler likely just got caught up in this.

Honestly, I don't think SE is as unaware as that. They're gathering data from a lot of areas and forums is probably one of the least reliable ones.
I think Apocatastasis is clearly something that needs a redesign, but I think Freeze is fine.
Mostly because I think they'll call our non-UI phase a glitch eventually (Am I being too paranoid?).
When that happens, Freeze will be the better ice spell to fill in (though it should really function like Blizzard 3, giving 3 stacks).
Yoshi specifically said he wanted BLM to have limited utility overall and is one of the things they're balanced around.

Lastly, you can disagree with Seobit but I don't think you should call them on double standards.
Pretty sure Seobit was telling all the other SMNs to stop their whining with the allagan boots, thunder removal and petitions for new egi.
At the very least, Seobit takes the same attitude to his/her own class.
