Why Duty Roulette system encourage player to play alone ?

I just wanna say , Duty Roulette really make my friends leaving and play alone.

Before patch2.1, I logined everyday and invite friends to queue WP/AK for Myth ,we play together and have fun.

After Patch2.1. Friends no longer invite to WP/AK, coz we have to queue ALONE to get the
daily bonus.

Well,we won't invite friends to queue agani because it is not efficient to run dungoen without Bonus.

Around half month passed, my friends and I no longer queue DF togehter anymore.

I dun understand , is that system really good ?

The general point is to get more people to join into the roulette helping partial groups. If less pre-mades are going in than the wait for DPS would be reduced. Which i'm not a lvl 50 dps so I don't know about that but my lvl 35 smn still has a 15-30min wait.

Also, you get so many more philo tomes I don't need to mass spam WP. Whith Coil, 2-3 CT runs for alt gear and then daily DR-high lvl. I don't need to grind WP's anymoer for myth cap..usually.

They have made grouping with friends less needed sadly. I think you should be able to DR up to a full group.

I like the idea of roulette, but you're right -- I don't group with my friends as much anymore either. Sad. :/

DR up to a full group defeats it's purpose, you might as well still be doing pre-mades pre-2.1.
I've heard arguments to allow at least 2 people in a group to queue for DR which I think might be acceptable.

I've not really noticed much of a decrease in wait times for my DRG (lvl 50) or when I've lvled other DPS classes. I still more often than not get the "more than 30 minutes" message in the duty status window. Roulette was a good concept but I do not think it's having the affect they thought it would.

I personally don't even bother with the high level dungeons anymore since I can just do 45 min runs of CT and get 200 philo and 50 myth. Too many terrible experiences in the new dungeons to waste my time on the HL DR.

For the other ones, I use the Guildhests and low level dungeons to level my alt classes and I play whatever I feel like at the time to do the story roulette. I still group with my normal circle of people to do any content of significance (CT/Coil/Primals) so I don't think it's a huge deal that I go out and do a few things on my own.

IIRC they have said it's a system restriction that they want to work towards solving, but it involves re-writing a lot of stuff.
Crystal Tower is also going to get full 24-man premades, but just like Roulette, it's gonna take some time.

If someone already did their roulette for the day then wouldn't it make sense to do the usual AK or WP run since roulette isn't going to give you the additional myth stones?

I don't really care about those 40 extra myths from using the DR, I rather play with the people from my FC since then we can run the dungeons and talk crap on mumble making the entire thing so much more fun.
And also, I find it strange to prefer a 40myth bonus over playing with your friends.

Pretty much this. I haven't done DR in 2 weeks now because i dont like to gamble, doing CT/Coil or Haukke HM SR with FC members is alot more enjoyable. 40 myth is just not worth the hassle you get from DR's(it makes you to lose hope in humanity usually).

Take your main, equip random lowlvl gear so you have an ilvl of 47, enter highlvl roulette, switch to proper gear, run wp in 15min for 70 tomes

2x a week + a decent coil run and a CT run, myths over with by tuesday night, 5 days to do whatever with whoever
