Chocobos, airships, and the main city

There is a rumor going around that chocobo's are used for carrying things. Do not expect that to have any truth to it, but the possibility makes me VERY sad.

I dunno how many times I have mentioned with my LS that I wanna ride MY chocobo.
Just a minor additon, would makes GREAT impact.
Customerzation would be great, but if possible, release chocobo 1st then additional stuff later.
It is a day and night different to have a Chocobo in FF game.

Faster Transportation needs to be put in asap, these are almost fundamental to any game, some sort of reward for higher leveling is to travel faster, yet a r50 would still have the same speed in traveling as a rank 1?! Very sloppy SE, I feel if they put this in before adding any other content people will then have more to look forward to now that there are alternative traveling options.

You know maybe it is a GOOD thing that they haven't been implemented yet..

If they were released from the start it might have all been pretty disappointing.. This way they have extra time to make it that much better. Although the wait sucks lol

The airships sometimes fly low, low enough sometimes I can make out some details. Just wish we can board it eventually. Has anyone noticed the strange platform located near the West coast of Limsa. Seems like an airship dock of sorts, very cool.

Those things are all over. I've seen two in La Noscea (one north of Camp Bloodshore in the east and one east of Camp Bald Knoll in the west) and one in Thanalan by Burning Wall. The first thing I thought of too when I saw them were Airship Platforms, yet they are out in the middle of nowhere.

Yes, I've noticed that. They seem to be stationed outside of all of the three cities. I do believe there is more than one in each region as well.
