After you run it 3284372942389 times, you'd want to skip everything too. I've never rushed anyone watching CS but I will keep going.

As I said, I don't think it's your fault. SE implemented this to make people like you more inclined to help people like me. Except you give in to your need for tomes and use the excuse of repetition.
If repetition is that painful to you, why play an MMO at all? Takes nothing to wait a few moments for people watching cut scenes. Even if you do have to do it every time.
The problem with Castrum and Prae being, they each have 12 cutscenes. Waiting for people to watch them all in their entirety adds at a minimum 35 minutes to the run. This is a good long time for people to stand around with their hands in their pockets. As I said, I don't think it's your fault. I'm lost.
I've gone to find myself.
If I should return before I get back,
Please ask me to wait.

Which I fully understand and I consider it to be a broken implementation, made worse by the impatient detritus of the community. Implementing a separation mechanic and offering over-geared 50s the chance to earn more tomes, the title of <CareMaster> or something, and a rare pet after, say, 50 runs - would result in (hopefully) everybody being happy. Speed runners can speed run, those who are a bit more community minded can help new level 50s who want to watch the cut scenes, and are compensated for the additional time spent with additional rewards.
Simple.
Alright, so, maybe I'm missing something here as I only ran CM back when you had to for Darklight, but:
If people run Prae/CM for Spirit Bonding, why don't they go in with a pre-made? Why would you go through Duty Finder, the usual way people progressing through the story will choose? Are people genuinely expecting everyone to just gogogo because they've got to Spirit Bond asap? Wouldn't it be a million times faster to go in with a pre-made regardless? Why take the risk of some people not knowing what they're doing?
It just seems really counter-productive to do this... for literally everyone in the party.
It can pretty much double the time the dungeon takes when you wait for cutscenes and wait for all the "are you ready now?" dilly dally shilly shally as opposed to just plowing through. That can mean an hour instead of 30 minutes. As I said, I don't think it's your fault. SE implemented this to make people like you more inclined to help people like me. It is pretty unreasonable to expect 7 people to wait on 1 person watching cutscenes before even starting a fight. Be grateful that people are willing to carry you while you watch the cutscenes.

Tbh the duty finder for all dun are touch and go it's not really all on SE it's the players iv seen people wait for cs first timers and iv seen the ones who leave em .. It's just in the player not the system shrugs.. Best thing to do is when you do your five millionth run help those new by waiting.. It's what I do most people yet not all are self centered all about me attitudes and SE can't fix that problem :/

I'm glad I'm a tank and almost always get paired up with newbie plds that could never solo some of the bosses, 'cause I'd wait outside the boss fight while you and whoever gets done with being d***s to newbs.
People who urge you to skip cs or run ahead and get into bossfights on their own are much worse. Would you still be mewling about how 'group > individual' if you got into a Prae with more than half the people new and wanting to watch cs?

Yep that's why I'm glad I'm a tank AND healer, if you wanna watch CS go for it, I'm not stopping you, but I'm not about to hold up the entire group for ONE person. It's a win-win situation anyway. That person gets to watch CS and a easy run, I get to hurry and get my tomes.
And there's nothing wrong with noobs ._. stop confusing them for bads.
I don't know why people keep saying this. Every single time I join DF for dailies I ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS get a speed run and I'm not the only one that always gets a speed run. So I guess it's safe to expect a speed run?
