Well... When i first experienced the Dutyfinder i thought it would be a great Tool
but now i think the best Solution would be to delete it.
All we need is the partyfinder.

I love when people post about this.
Before my first CM and Pre runs I told myself "Screw them. I am watching the CS's.". But by the time I got to these runs I just wanted them done. So I skipped them all just to complete the story. After about 5-10 runs of each I decided to finally watch them in the Inn. Boy was I floored with how long some of them are. I mean they literally give Metal Gear a run for its money in CS length. Like obnoxiously long when your holding up a bunch of other people.
My mind changed in an instant. Seriously, skip the CS's and watch them on your own time in the Inn. Besides in short order with all the grinding of these zones you have to do you too will be getting all stabby towards anyone who wants to sit through them during the run.

If it's someone's first story run, I agree with the OP.
To the OP: The way to enforce this is to grab a second tank to go with you for the CS. If the DDs and Healers try to run ahead and force it, they'll still die, as the fight requires a tank regardless of how over-geared you are for it. It hate to resort to such things, but first time through, first immersion - when you're a player that actually values the story - takes priority. Those who subject themselves to the roulette for quick seals do so knowing that players could be playing for their story. There are loads of innuendos referring to 'first times' that I can make on this matter. Suffice to say, if your passion for the story is lost, don't ruin it for those who still have theirs.
Not sure why people still run this, it's way more effecient to farm CT, you get 200 philo and 50 myth. In fact just farming my 1 piece of gear a week I nearly cap out on philo.
SE should just make it so that you are locked in a CS until all skip or finish it.
They point of the roulette is to help lower levels complete dungeons when the people from 1-49 dries up. The same with the story line dungeon.
TBH, SE should also fix the magitek transporter exploit. It's silly that 70% of the dungeon is skipped, and ontop of that people QQ about cutscenes.
I enjoy seeing cut scenes, and I also don't mind letting first timers watch them, if they give me a heads up. That being said, they are overdone, and should be able to be eliminated from the run if everyone has been there before. I would LOVE to see an option to pick a cut scene free run. As much as I enjoy them the first time, it is annoying to get them each and every time. Its like getting a movie and having to watch all the ads and previews you don't care about to get to what you do care about. TBH what irks me the most is people who HAVE seen them, but who still make everyone wait while they watch them YET AGAIN. That's what the inn room is for!
Come back to the game you silly goat!![]()
