    Please show some respect.

I find it harder, and harder to read the forum everyday...
Most of what I see are complaints, passive aggressive insults, and selfishness.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to make a video game?
Do you have any idea how many hours developers work to make deadlines? Just to be told nothing they ever do is good enough for you. Or done quickly enough for you.

These people that make the games you enjoy are HUMAN BEINGS. They aren't perfect. They aren't magical robots that can spit out the content you want overnight, and they can't possibly please everyone.

Please try to have a little respect for the amazing creative talent behind the games we play. If you think you can do so much better, or that creating a world, game mechanics, lore, fixing bugs etc is so easy, then please feel free to attempt to even get hired at a major game developer.

We can't keep treating creative talent like this, if it weren't for these people we wouldn't have any video games to play.
Belittling them, and trashing every attempt they make to please us is like booing your home football team, and expecting that to make them play better.

This post is a call out to my fellow gamers.
Please try to have some respect for the developers, and the incredibly demanding jobs they have. If you aren't happy with something in the game, or you have suggestions, try to make posts that are actually constructive. Your rants do nothing other than show off your tantrums.

Come on guys, we're better than this.

EDIT: People seem to be missing the point entirely, this post is about having respect, and appreciation for creative talent. I'm not defending the game, or any games flaws. I'm simply asking for a little RESPECT.

im sorry to say this but as a service provider you must know how to deal with these kind of negative feedback, the odds you get a negative feedback from customers is 3x higher than a positive one statistically , working directly with customers is one of the hardest type of jobs, but im sure SE is professional enough to not let those angry comments ruin their day (i hope so)

You seemed to have missed the point entirely.

You can have negative feedback without being disrespectful, and it doesn't hurt to show some appreciation for the hard work developers do.

but people when angry (no matter if its warranted) tend to be disrespectful towards the company and their representatives, thats exactly what i ment being part of the job

a complaining paying customer is always better than someone respectful who cant afford your product

The appreciation is given when we pay monthly sorry to say. While i do know making a game isn't very easy, but that is what they signed up for. There are a lot of jobs that are not easy, infact when i was in the army i was averaging how much i was paid every two weeks divided by the time worked. It actually came to about $2.73 an hour. Do you think Yoshi P would work for that much? They're paid very well to deal with this kind of stuff. While i agree people should atleast be polite @ the very least, because to me, respect is earned not given. If they can show they're driven by more than greed that would be a great start.

There are 2 sides to this ...

I have made a game, put in months of effort and work and got nearly nothing in repsonse... not even negative ones, so I would of appreciated even some rage and vitriol as it showed some interest rather than mere silence.

However there is such a thing as constructive criticism, saying something sucks and you are horrible at your job helps no one but giving your opinion on what something is like and why you THINK it is like that and how is should be in your opinion at least allows the reader to try see things in your perspective.

You also have to consider the fact the game is a product, a paid for and subscribed to product and as such customers are prone to expectations and feel they are not given full value unless the expectations are at least explained if not actually sorted out fully.

To be fully honest this game has barely any vitriol and toxicity as compared to some other MMO's and game communities, try the DOTA2 and/or LoL communities... this place is a haven in comparison :P

Overall SE did it to themselves.

From an extreme point of of, if people had no voice against a government we'd end like like Sadaam Hussein era Iraq or current North Korea. Being forced to stay quiet despite an horrible environment.

Or imagine a car company who put fault cars on the road that killed thousand per year due to defects. Yet we should not rise up against them because they have hard working millionaires.

This game is going down hill fast and people notice it. They pay money so the deserve a quality game.

It all starts from the top down. No matter how hard devs work, they still have to work hard for the producer.

I was a fool to sub for so long. I'm stuck here til my sub runs out sadly. hopefully i get my money's wroth.

This is a video game, not a government, please get real lol.

Please go create a better game if you think you can.

Or try to run a government, or major car company for that matter. Come back and tell us how easy it is.

Also nobody ever said you have to keep quiet, no idea where you're getting that. I'm asking for a little respect.

And you've already got your moneys worth, one night out at a bar costs more than 3 months of this game.

you've never used example in your like to prove a point? I even pointed out at the beginning it was an extreme point of view.

Answer this question and i will 100% respect you and agree you.

Have you ever had a product or a food product you did not like? And felt it was not worth you money? If you have then why dont you become a cook/chef, or design your own product.

Let alone to do this you need investors, or a brand new bachelors degree in computer engineering.

But please answer this question, and i promise to answer any of your questions directly, and i wont beat around the bush.
