I've used it twice. Once for my first run at the Dhorme Chimera (probably butchered that), which went fine, and once that, at the time, was for Hydra, but the group ended up doing everything past that to Titan HM, not even caring about the fact I still had to run around unlocking Garuda HM and Titan HM, let alone having never run any of the three.

I too love the party finder and can only confirm your experience. Group with "Fail once = kick" in the comment only work 3/10 times. I recently started to just avoid them completly. The party leader is usually the first one to screw up and ofc doesn't leave because he "really" lagged. But if anybody else screws up it is instant replace. Love the double standards.

I think PF is the best feature of 2.1. I really love it and use it a lot to form my own or join others. I have seen it all, from DC rage healers to DD scrubs. I made heaps of new friends through it and for the first time added players to my blist. I even had a healer troll Ifrit run by running to us stacked behind ifrit with searing wind, fun times specially when he knocks you right to Ifirt face next to MT to eat some air changing breath.

Any how a feature like this is priceless IMHO, no more DF for the most part PF all day everyday.

I'm still amazed I was able to put a tam tara run together using the party finder, especially considering that even every time the party finder is mentioned on the forums all people talk about are extreme and hm primal fights :P

that's my only experience with the party finder. I'm not sure I want to collect more, judging by what people put up there. I will make it a habit of trying to build at least one lowbie run in there every day, though, simply so people realise you can actually use it for random shenanigans.

ps: if a miracle happens and I ever reach lvl 50 on a battle class, I will most likely use party finder to try and build 'practice runs' specifically for people who .don't. have 'experience' :P

Considering your server says Ragnarok, and I'm on Balmung, I'm guessing no.

Party Finder is a really powerful tool, and easily one of the best things in 2.1. It feels matured, it's nice to use.

Squeeny actually failed in making it more prominent for players when the patch arrived. As usual, they overestimated the curiosity of many.

I want so much for it to be thought of as an usual resource soon so the crude part of shouting spam actually stops... But of course, this would be an indirect consequence of the widespread use of PF.

I'd never enter a group that sounds assholish, so I never faced those issues. Always had a good time.

90% of the farm group are filled with 6/8 first timers

90% of T4 groups are formed from people who passed T2 via enrage and thus have minimal skills in playing their class

90% of the group who ask for ilvl 85+ will think that ilvl is the sole representation of a player's skill

The other remaining groups are usually pretty funny, like the guy setting ilvl requirement to 200 and said chuck norris only

Honestly, any time I see rude comments, I ignore that group altogether. I want to have a good time with a group who's attempting to accomplish the same goal as me. Having people rage because of a wipe or a mistake is not a good time to me and not worth it.

I use PF for WP SRs nobody in Mor Dhona seems to care about anymore. It's like the only way to still do them since there's no single person anymore shouting or reacting to shouts concerning WP
