I totally disagree!

They are slowly turning the FF14 into a fully dn grinding game! If i wanted such i would of go as example Vindictus and is free!


There is no economy, market on my server is fully crashed ! You can get vote kicked for no reason at all ! And how they introduced the housing is a joke, ive never been in a mmo where you cant get a basic house, in all mmos ive been you get the basic and from it you upgrade it with lot of effort and time!

And enough with the dns and armors, we got only this in all the patches and next 2.2 is no different !

Sure CT is fun and the treasure hunt but it makes fun only couple of times a week ! And the little quests we got were interesting but they were little ! But thats all, all things are same and you have to grind in dns over and over again!

I still dont have all my crafting classses to 50, i really really like crafting, and the crafting system in this game is one of the best ive seen, but when in the end of the day you end up selling items for 80gills for witch you werked hard to make my motivation goes allay ! And phillo craft items by me you sell for 3-2k !

Most of my friends and company members left the game, because it turned to be too much of a grinding game and was getting boring !

I like the game but need to be improved alot and fast there are really big problems in it but once solved it will turn in a magic game !

Its funny because i think the game is quite opposite. FFXIV doesnt have anything to grind at all. Problem i have in this game is static forced for coil due to run locked out.

Crafting grind - Make HQ item over and over again for repeatable levee.
Gathering grind - Run to node, hit X, X , X , X , X .
Fate grind - Run back and forth to zerg fates, flash flash flash.
Gear grind - Run CT over and over again to get the piece you want.

To get one piece of armor you have to grind in the dn....example CT...this week i had 11+ run with 0 drops for Monk ! So if this is not grinding the maybe this....for stones you have to go dns over and over again!
All the things you get from the dns when you do them over and over and over again !

If this is not grinding then please tell me what you think grinding is ?

Ah patch 2.2 new dns new armors soo great more grinding ! I expect that they release more new areas to explore! There are plenty of dn grinding games outside, i dont want that they turn this nice game with big potential into such thing !

You sound like you want everything instant lv50 which is hilarious. Leveling in this game is really fast.

It does sound like bad luck. I've been clearing t4 since late Sep and still havent seen a single Allagan Boots of Aiming .

If you're looking for a specific drop, gl with the horrible RNG in this game lol.

When people claim an mmo has a grind they mean a grind. Yes every mmo has "grind" including FF14 but if you think the grinding required in 14 is the same as say.. EQ you're insane. For good or ill the time it takes to accomplish things is much much less than many mmorpgs on the market.
