So only WHM, BLM, SCH and SMN can do Fate solo, that's not even the half.eh, I soloed the one in hawthorne hut as BLM. I shouted for people to come. No one did. I said "f*** it", pulled boss, dodged the cone, blm rotation, healed myself w/physick, and did it all over again until dead. Wasnt the most fun, but it's certainly doable. Unless you cant heal yourself. Then it's just blah. lol

love daily fates keep them coming guys friend told me about a lvl 3 sylph daily fate can't wait to start doing it.

Whoever came up with the idea to include a fate as part of a daily quest ought to re-evaluate his/her idea of fun. I just literally spent 40 minutes waiting for Boar Wars fate to spawn, and this was after doing all the other dailies so that amounts to about 55 minutes total... Then, not entirely surprising, I did the fate all by myself, which takes another 5-6 minutes considering the mob has quite some HP. While the time it took to complete the fate isn't a problem in itself, it does however become bothersome when you are facing a time limit. Imagine if you get the quest, travel all the way to the fate, find that it's up but only have 3 minutes to complete it by your merry self... Impossible to complete it by yourself in that time, no time to call in friends to help or wait for others to join in... you are properly ****ed and will have to wait another hour for the fate to re spawn...
Later on this might lessen somewhat as more people get to that point and more will show up for the fate but as of right now, this daily serves more as an enormous waste of time and is more aggravating than anything else. Remove fates as daily quest objectives, it works against what fates should be; random events people can participate in as they happen to pass by it.
I have been waiting now for over an hour and the Boar fate hasnt spawned yet. Fix this S-E!!!!
Forcing fates as part of 'quick' daily goals is bad enough, but why of every fate format, did they have to pick a boss one?? At least if it was groups of smaller mobs, more people could solo them, picking off what they could handle.
I totally support getting rid of mandatory fates tied to quests! Especially dailies!!

Dailies + FATEs = evil babies
Please stop adding them into the game.

Ugh I was actually in the general area when the Boar one popped but couldn't make it to the spawn in time. I literally saw it the moment it popped on the map but didn't have enough time to make it to the fight (they had JUST killed it as I got there)
Now I'm sitting here for another 15~30+ waiting for 1 stupid fate? Lovely.
For the love of God stop tying quests to FATE already, nobody likes it or wants it.
EDIT: And I still have my Amalj'aa quests to do as well, so yay, probably going to delay doing those by an hour.

^^ same here waited for 30 mins but the FATE was in the north western area and it was quite a long ride. When I got there, it was over lol and I waited there for another half an hour. Next time I get it, I will make one quest less that day or abandon it and try to get a different one. Another example of SE's great design philosophy. They just love FATES it seems. And walking for a long time in the wilderness. And beeing aggroed constantly. And trying again and again (invisible/pumpkin quests). And lagging. Oh the fun.

Heavens forbid that something in this game isn't handed to the playerbase on a platter and able to complete in under 7 minutes.
SE don't change anything, if people are sick of waiting 30 minutes for a FATE to pop... that's on them.
Here's a hint to everyone who is crying... YOU DON'T NEED TO DO EVERY DAILY EVERY DAY!
The world is not going to end if you only complete 5 out of your 6 quests in a day. You will still be able to hit max rank before the next patch comes out. You're not going to fall behind everyone.
It's going to be okay.
