I don't know why we even still have auto-kick. People who want to stay logged in get around it by looking at the MB, talking to an NPC, or starting a craft/gather, and post-launch numbers have fallen off now so the only times we ever get queues are when Odin kills a server. Auto-kick is literally nothing but an inconvenience at this point.

Not everyone is an elitist though that needs to constantly exploit the game in some fashion. The vast majority of people still get locked out by it, and as there are still queues to log in I'd say that's a very good thing.

I don't think elitist means what you think it means. And again, server capacities were increased to accommodate the massive number of players at launch. Like all games, those numbers have dropped off. That means there's extra login capacity. The only time I've seen a login queue since then has been when Odin Zantetsuken'd the server.
