CT Loot System 1.876 millionth thread about it! Bad game design.

What about people (like myself) who lost an entire week of CT loot because of this? I called customer support, who told me after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, that I needed to talk to a GM in-game because they (customer support) do not handle in-game support. So I sent a ticket through the game console but never heard from a GM...

I don't think there is GM support like we're use to in other games. They just sent boiler plate responses that don't address 99% of the specific issues we have.

Look, everyone knows it sucks, apparently including SE. They said they're fixing it, that should be the end of it now.

Yes SE can now "finally" agree, since they got more then enough of us complaining about the problem at hand.
Yet when we "told" SE what was going on, their 1st response was "We can't help you and you got the item you didn't want so why are you complaining to us?"
When we didn't even "Need/Greed" on the crappy loot item we didn't want.
Now that they acknowledge the problem, they'll attempt to fix it and if it continues to happen I'm more then sure we'll still get the same response as before. =/
So all in all SE still doesn't care, we'll still get screwed on loots and all will be unhappy.

I died at the end last night due to another partys Iron giant aggroing us. I didn't get revived and now I'm stuck with a crappy dragoon chest piece when I'll probably never play that job.

Why didn't you simply start at the beginning and teleport instead of staying dead the entire loot period?
I agree the design is flawed but you could of avoided that one on your own.

If you get loot that you don't want simply by not passing in a minute, then something is wrong.

I died right at the last hit before the boss went down. I thought other healer would instant revive me but everyone scrambled out of the dungeon.

The discussion about auto-obtaining a piece of loot if you don't pass is a valid one. However, your post made it sound like the reason you got stuck with the loot automatically was because you were dead. This is not the case. You can pass while dead.

Now I know. I didn't realize I can pass while I'm dead and that I had to make snap decisions in order to get loot that I don't want.
