I never had even the slightest amount of difficulty or inconvenience with this quest, in fact I find it to be one of those that require the least effort of all. I've seen several people complaining about it, but I'm absolutely clueless as to why they perceive it to be challenging or frustrating at all.

You have to carry something through an area. You cannot sprint. You cannot use any actions. The time limit on the carry is just lenient enough to make it between the refresh items. There are ranged enemies all over the path. They all take ten seconds off your timer every time they hit you, which will happen without fail. Some of them will randomly yank you backwards thirty feet without warning. There is no way to defend yourself whatsoever. If you run out of time, which you will because there's a gang of sylphs right at the end who'll Thunder all your time away, you have to do it all again.

Without the enemies, this would be a mild challenge. With the Thunder spamming sylphs, this quest is the video game equivalent of running naked down a narrow hallway full of people with baseball bats. It's not a challenge. It's random chance.

It's all about population and time of day. If you are doing these quests during peak hours, there's so many people running around doing FATEs and dailies that many of the enemies are distracted and you can carry the pumpkin to its destination easily. However, if you are forced to play off-hours, there are times where the Sylphlands are completely deserted, and you have 400 mobs between you and your destination that all used ranged attacks. To make matters worse, the drop point in the Goldleaf Dais has 3-4 sylphs sitting RIGHT on top of it. They aggro you almost instantly as you get close and you get nailed by 4+ thunders in under a second (thus dropping your package and having to start over). If there isn't anyone around to kill the mobs for you, it turns an otherwise straightforward, easy quest into a huge pain in the ass.
