Tanking Titan HM

The heart shows a separate aggro table, but Titan doesn't follow it. You should have a solid lead from previous phases and shouldn't need to build aggro at all.

I would hold solid hate w/o an issue in the early stages then when the heart would appear a healer/dps would have initial aggro and i would have to snatch it back. Only the heart can be targeted during this phase until it is destroyed or can i still target Titan?

Thanks for the helpful responses all! Tried some practice runs (and actually fell off once trying to find sweet spot!). The fight seems so much easier as a tank than it was on my bard... You can only target the heart, and sometimes the game thinks you aren't close enough and you have to move around a bit and look up to get a hit to land.

After the heart shatters, Mountain Buster comes after every landslide. I'm not sure on the exact PLD rotation for CDs, still working on my own rotation for War

Just IB before each MB and be sure to have Storm's Eye debuff always on, that's more than necessary

as PLD you can always timing Flash before "Flip the table", it s increase the chance to dodge it but it is gamble so be sure to have CD, and use CD on the flip that have turmult as follow up (pop 1 CD every 2 flip)

edit: Titan rotation for flip: landslide->rock buster-> flip

Definitely. I got my relic way before 2.1 with that much and it's just so much easier now. Just keep Storm's Path debuff up and use Inner Beast right after he slammed the ground with Landslide and you'll be having 30% damage reduction on top of the 25% HP and 20% healing everytime. I think Mountain Buster hit me for about 2k with that much damage reduction so definitely more doable now.

Thanx for this thread. I am up to Garuda now and Titan next for my alt job Paladin for relic quest and was wondering what is this CD that people kept on saying to pop? Is it like a food meal Paladin has to consume for the fight? Sorry if it is a noob question
