It's Monday morning and I"m locked out of CT loot for the week, I didn't roll.

An item dropped into my inventory that I did not roll on. This was my first run of the week.

I know this topic comes up often on the forums. But, if we stay quiet, it won't be fixed. So I'm going to make threads whenever I remember to do so. Maybe in time we can get a dev response.

My proposal: Loot that is not rolled on is automatically passed. If we do not want the loot, then we do not roll need/greed, so why does it drop to whoever didn't roll?

This is a flawed system and it needs changing. Especially with a weekly lockout. Players are paying a monthly premium for a service, if we are not provided with a proper service, we should not be paying.

IF everyone passes the loot THEN destroy the loot
ELSE IF player needs/greed THEN roll for loot
ELSE IF no one needs/greeds AND a player has not yet made a decision THEN return the loot to the chest and allow the party to roll on it again if the chest is activated again

IF a chest is spawned AND a new chest is getting ready to spawn THEN despawn the first chest and its loot (no saving loot because maybe something better drops, then running back to get it)

I'm guessing this was on the last boss? aka you sat with the item open long enough the rest of your party left while you were still hemming and hawwing and thus it was defaulted to you.

Why did you not roll?

Loot does not drop to you unless you don't roll and everyone leaves the instance. So what were you doing at the last boss that caused you to delay rolling immediately?

As soon as loot drops, I roll or pass. It takes a whole 3 seconds.

Does this need to be addressed? Yes, but not taking the steps to ensure your own avoidance to the issue is where you failed.

The developers already said that they'd work on this. For now, they ask that everyone quickly pass if you don't want the loot. You should have at least 10 or more seconds to roll on loot even with everyone bolting quickly. Make it a priority until they fix it. Also, it helps to know what you want that run. If you're looking for a certain piece or pieces, need if they drops and pass if they don't. Trying to compare stats on the loot to see if it's something you want is never a good idea while in a dungeon.

Some of you people aren't understanding. This is a flawed system. The very fact that potential accidents, whether negligence or not CAN happen, is a flaw.

How many freakin "are you sure?" pop-ups are in this game? Think about it.
