Stubbornly refusing to watch youtube or research a fight before you enter is very selfish in my opinion. I remember the good old days where turning up prepared for a fight was considered the right thing to do....

It's so frustrating sometimes having to deal with such special snowflakes, I remember farming my Garuda weapon from Garuda HM, I did it in the duty finder and in my experience the success rate was about 25%. Getting a tank/healer that was on his virgin run was almost a 100% chance of a wipe. Why should 7 other people que up, then spend 20 minutes failing to kill before everyone disbands while some precious snowflake refuses to help himself by watching the video before hand so he at least knows what to expect?

BUT IT'S MY GAME AND YOU DON'T PAY MY SUB!!!! They exclaim. Well, it's my game and my sub too, thanks for wasting an hour of my time anyway, as well as 6 other peoples.

I am a PC gamer.
I am going to defend many PS3 gamers that do not have a pc near by to watch stupid videos.
Get real man when I bought this game through SE, No where did it say (In order to play this game you must have access to You Tube) videos are ok but if you don't want to watch them or cant then don't, Just learn it the way you want to and to hell with what others say.

I'm not trying to make this sound kinky but when you had your first you know what, Did you run to the nearest Pron shop to watch videos before doing it? I find it more enjoyable in life to do things and enjoy the ride...

being expected to watch a video 2 days after content was released is a really new thing. its pretty lame, no one other than the people who logged in at 3am when the servers came back on can get a pure experience of going in blind without being ridiculed. Remember back in the day when you were playing a game and you had that annoying person next to you that would tell you everything thats going to happen and you wanted to punch them in the face? mr. happy is THAT guy on a massive scale.

DF is for practice.. PF groups sometimes specify that they are learning parties. If you want everyone to already know the fight, specify that you want experienced or at least people who watched the fight. problem solved.

What the hell is the point if you have to watch a fucking video before you play. Is such a stupid requirement. Just run the damn instance and learn from the experience. If you can't get it down before the instance over with then you suck. If you need to watch somebody else do it before you even tried to you really suck. Expecting everybody in the duty find to already know how to Do a certain instances Just makes you stupid. No one would have a reason to lie about their experiences if these dumbass requirements were not xpected in the first place.

learning by doing is better than watching a video , because seeing something doesn't mean you can do it anyway

As has been said, if you are using DF, expect people who do not care to "prepare" for a fight. If you aren't okay with that, create your own group. Then you can be upset when someone comes in "unprepared."

When you all got your Drivers licence did you practice on a simulator ? Did you watch a video ? Did you read a book about driving ? Or did you jump right in a car and start driving ? When you all took a test in school did you all research the subject at hand ? Did you read a book on the subject ? Or did you just take the test with no knowledge of the subject ? When you first played Monopoly did you read the rules or did you just wing it ? How about the Game of life ? Scrabble ? Poker , Spades ? Fact is it is always best to know what your doing before your doing it . Watching a video is not going to make you win ..... But it is going to teach you what to expect so your ready for it . Also new content that comes out in a day sure yes jump in it and have at it . Content that has been out for a month watch the video the resource is there .
