Please make a separated DUTY FINDER for experienced/completed players only!

You guys know that this system wouldn't make you suddenly get a lot of carry parties, right?
If I buy all the EM primals, I could just queue and ruin it for 7 other people, for example. Now think about how common mercenaries are.

After numerous attempts on Titan for PLD relic and shard parties failed (I learnt a lot with tanking doing it, nailed down timings and overall improved as a tank, so wasn't wasted), Anywho, this was my 2nd relic. So with party finder I advertised for a kill party of people with their second relic. The number of plyers who joined on their 2nd or more relic who constantly died to the same thing every try was shocking.

Too many people have been carried through content or paid to be carried that they have the gear, but they don't know the fight. Relic geared and relic using DPS not able to burn the heart past 50%.

True test of your ability is not knowing and doing it's being able to teach someone else what you know and them doing.

Even if you got what you aer asking for, how would that stop players who bought kills or where carried through content from joining? They fill all the requirements. So you would still be in the same situation, just with extended que times due to a smaller pool of players.

I feel like the ready-made solutions he provides ruins a lot of players, because they don't think on their feet and just blame something when it doesn't go according to script. No one farms without dealing with surprises.

Even MrHappy says in his videos a lot that the thing he does in his guides is something that worked for his group but may not work for others and advises people who watches his guide videos to find how to beat the fight themselves.

MrHappy's guide videos are more like what to expect during the fight not what should be done in a fight. His video are good to see what will happen at certain points but how each party handle the fight will always be different.

I agree that is how you should take in his videos but my point is that people by and large are actually copying them verbatim, so they are doing it wrong. A good example is how you stack for plumes, if you feel people might clip one or two why stack on a point? This is by far the most common way people dodge plumes and it gives no margin for error, while if you stack in a line behind titan if you have slight lag at worst you will get clipped by one, which is not a death.

He and the people he plays with are very skilled and adjust to mistakes very well, but this is something not in a lot of groups that use his strats which makes for a inconsistent, flawed party. It's like watching videos of Gordon Ramsay cooking, you can see how he does it and copy his recipes but you are still not Gordon Ramsay.

He always has disclaimers in his video as you describe but they are just not getting absorbed. People watch because they want to know how to do it so they're going to mostly disregard a point of advice that you should think of better ways to do it. They're not there to think for themselves and they bring this thoughtlessness to parties.

Find a static or use the PF for the purpose it was designed. There's your solutions.

People who expect perfection in every DF or PF group they put together are dreaming to be perfectly honest. Particularly with the EX battles.

Garuda EX is an absolute joke on Tonberry at the moment. There are simply not enough tanks around who either a) confident enough to do it or b) skilled enough to do it. The whole instance is pretty much being held to ransom by a lack of required classes.

No thank you. Use Party Finder (or better yet, encourage SE to properly develop cross-server match making so you can party with the good people you met during the regular Duty Finder).

...What about the people who just want to farm titan ex for fun? It's very frustrating to be in a group where there's just one noob who dies all the time and prevents the whole group from completing the duty and everyone ends up leaving. It's happened again and again for me.

You kind of completely missed the point I was making about how having done something does not indicate a player's skill level with 100% surety, as everything can potentially be bought or carried through. Say this DF WAS implemented, you would STILL sometimes get parties with that 1 person who ruins it for everyone because they bought their way through it once. It actually adds incentive to pay for a carry, because then you could get into the "elite" DF while still being a less than stellar player.

yes, please make a separate duty finder for the players who want to get carried through their dungeons by the people who actually did the work to figure the fights out and post videos for them(which comprises about 70% of players who spam for "experienced players only, must know the fight" groups).

those TRULY skilled, ELITE players who need to wait for a Youtube Walkthrough so that they can follow it to clear the dungeons and boss fights.
