I cannot correct you with 100% certainty, but I do believe that it is not "Doom Train" but rather the "Phantom Train" (or a similar name) being used by the Garleans. I recall laughing at the similarity in names.

Final Fantasy XIV: Primal fight simulator! Please look forward to it!![]()
Can you please explain that PlayStation move remotes as grenades part in your sig, i dont see how it and Hildibrand link.A few theories and talk he has about 2.2 from the letter we all obtained from Yoshi-P with the word Maelstrom and the words on the tomes.

(I'm still voting that the words talks about Shiva's awakening in Ishgard and the destruction she will bring.)

Hmmm. Belias is not a primal. It was an aberration of Ifrit-Egi created from Ascian given supernatural powers. Unless you found another source of information besides that quest were you fight it.
It clearly says that through the summoners' crystals he managed to summon an Egi of Belias, he just looks like Ifrit-Egi because it would took too much time to create a monster just for 1 fight.

Somehow I am getting a bad feeling about all this...
What is in the Center there?
Who is dealing with Those Summons?
Why is the white Ascian helping us?
Where do we build our new base?
The answer is always leading to the same, they need us in the middle!
Soon all is set into place for the big revival of the Evil God...

***** Maybe Spoilers *****
What is in the Center there? Crystal tower, Xandes, The Scions of the 7th Dawn, Blond Haired guy, and Bahaumat???.
Why is the white Ascian helping us? He didnt show up till we entered Crystal Tower right? (Really dont remember but was he locked away in CT and the player unlocked him?)
Where do we build our new base? Mor Dhol - the center of it all near Silvertear Falls.
This seems like its going to be the focal point of how the game is going. Maybe also where we will see Zodark (sp?)

People forgot 1.0s opening already? What's at the center there? Maybe that scene where a certain airship crashed into a lake and released all the Primals?
The Ascian in White, I forget his name, but he's not helping, nor is he hindering the Scions(and by extent, you), he's a diplomat, he's trying to basically persuade you over to the Ascian cause rather than killing you like Lahabrea. And no, he's not tied to the Crystal Tower, he pops up during the whole moving the Scions to Mor Dhona quest line.
How many of these people played 1.0? And iirc the airship crash didn't release the primals, but the one guardian dragon did die.

The crash destroyed a seal, fairly sure that much was confirmed in lore.
I'd guess that it's just where Hydaelyn is. All things Hydaelyn/Echo related started when the seal was broken. The Ascians plan to use Hydaelyn to summon their God (summoning a God uses Crystals, what is Hydaelyn now? Us gathering the Crystals was all just a plan to weaken Hydaelyn by throwing Ultima at us), if Hydaelyn was sealed to prevent this, then it explains why the Echo/Hydaelyn started manifesting after the seal was broken. Hydaelyn is certainly central to the Ascians plans (why else would they help us empower her by obtaining the crystals?), so anyone who wanted to stop them (Allag) would have wanted to seal away Hydaelyn. Also, when we're in Mor Dhona at the end of 2.0, we get a flash of a darkened Hydaelyn.
The Primals were probably just being used to seal Hydaelyn there, rather than actually being sealed. When the seal was broken they no longer needed to be there, so they were freed from there too. Que Ascians/Paragons teaching the Beast Tribes how to summon them...
