Make FFXIV more like FFXI and less like WoW

I get that you want to solo a lot. That's fine. But maybe you should consider playing a solo game if that is the case. You can always do facebook and other social media outlets if you just want to socialize. But multi-player games are suppose to be about playing with others.

I think you're missing the point. You're trying to take an extreme version of what I'm saying to invalidate my point, it's a poor argument tactic. I dont want to be forced to group for EVERYTHING. I can't solo a single level 50 duty. Hell, I still get c*ck-blocked by titan HM. And that's fun, compelling, and keeps me going. It drives me to improve my gear, it drives me to run more duties. But I can do dailies, I can jump onto another job and solo-grind, I can grind leves. There must be a good mix to make something compelling.

Just buy it. Easy to earn the money to get it done.

But it's not an extreme view. What I said was precisely accurate and true. Outside of queued instances, this game is basically designed to be a solo game (which is exactly what I said).

And it was designed this way because of players like you, who for some reason I don't understand want to solo nearly all of the time on a multi-player game and never want to feel an incentive to play with others.

So again, I ask.. why play a multi-player game if solo content is your main objective? It doesn't make any sense to me.
