    Mission Cutscenes

When redoing missions such as Castrum Meridianum it seems a bit pointless to have to skip all of the cutscenes every 5 minutes.
I think it'd improve the experience for those doing speed runs/helping others if during the first cutscene you could choose the option to skip all future cutscenes. It's not exactly the biggest issue in Eorzea but it does seem like a needless thing to have to keep doing, especially with how often you get them in those missions.

That system was implemented to help low level toons to progress their storyline. As someone with a higher level tank rushing noobs through quickly to get my rewards i understand. If you remeber when you first went through you also watched the cut sceen......don't lie. It's annoying, but a little patience is appreciated.

I think you misunderstand, I'm not talking about making it so you stop everyone from seeing the cutscene, nor do I care to start a debate on whether people should or shouldn't watch cutscenes. Party Finder pretty much solves that issue as you can choose what you want.
When you skip a cutscene, it only skips it for you. All I'm suggesting is that you can choose to turn off all future cutscenes after the first one via the skip cutscene menu. If anyone wants to watch them they wouldnt be bringing up the skip cutscene menu anyway so it wouldn't make any difference to them.
If anyone were to make a speed run party they could then go through without having the interruptions.
If anyone wanted to watch the cutscenes and not do a speed run, they would also be able to do that.

There is an option to turn off cutscenes in your ui charecter config. Cutscenes may be watched at your inn.

If you're not there to help people progress through the story, there is no reason, at all, to do any storyline dungeons.
And don't tell me that you're doing it for the extra philosophy, because doing story content for that is highly inefficient as well. Especially if you are dragging new players through.

This has nothing to do with the topic, take your sanctimonious opinion elsewhere where it belongs.

I also wish there was an option to just allow you yourself to disable or choose to skip all cutscenes after the first one. The UI thing mentioned does NOT let you disable cutscenes in dungeons, it only disables the cutscenes for flight (which seriously, who uses airships after the first times you need to in the story?). Even says so in the Character Configuration screen. An option to at least disable cutscenes you've already seen would be helpful for those runs where cutscenes literally pop up in the middle of a fight. CM is horrible with that.

I was wrong. This is an option to skip transportation cutscenes only. I farm cm for tomes. I agree with not having to watch my own cutscenes. I also feel players should be made to wait for those who are watching cutscenes.
