Ifrit Extreme, Partyfinder, and selfish people.

I beat Ifrit in df. Around my 4th try, other tries were pretty good too, surprisingly.

EDIT: But I do agree, we are in the same server and I was thinking..wow are people TRYING to prevent others from getting their weapon? It's stupid for such an easy fight, don't worry you will beat it eventually.

Double edit: Oh hey! I joined your party and no one came haha(or was it the one where everyone left after two wipes), yeah man keep at it I guess or do DF like me.

Yeah and those group usually take a LONG time to fill since not that many beat titan extreme in first place; thus they limit their pool of peopel just by limting primal weapon only.

Yet demanding that there are ready to join groups at your exact place of progress organised when you're ready to go isn't selfish at all.

No it's not selfish, that is why I was persistent in DF till I won. It is just a shame that it creates such a barrier of entry based on very limited numbers for such an easy fight.

As a healer, having to learning in DF was a nightmare because the learning curve on that fight is super high for a healer. Thankfully I have a good rep with a good ls that farms extremes from time to time so I was able to get win with them. DF can be excruciating with the type of people that go into there even if you tell them it's your first time. I always respond with, "well if you wanted a group that new what was going 100% of the time, why'd you join DF?" I always get some witty response but they shut up after that or I blacklist them and never have to group with them again.

Since you're on a legacy server, you should transfer to hyperion. I see learning PF groups everyday for all extremes.

There are a bunch of "If I see you get hit, kick" and "Not here to teach. Either know the fight or GTFO." on Cactuar. The Party Finder can be extremely helpful at times, but I feel like this and the Vote Dismiss feature really brought out the ego in people thousandfold.

Yeah I have seen a lot of that going around on party finder, Its too bad really I mean god forbid you choked on something while doing the fight or maybe you coughed lol

Some of what I'm reading about the various EX fights and how people react to it makes me worry, especially when I finally get up to that content.

I like a challenge, and learning from my mistakes. But kicking people for just making one mistake? And even requiring previous wins of the fight, completely gating off new players from even trying? Ehhhh.
