    He was lv 60 today on my server. I managed to get silver again with being in a full party from start to finish. (lucked out i was right near where he spawned for once) At the least after they 'fixed' the fate I have been getting silver.. so I guess 3 more silvers I can get my barding and be done with worrying about this foolishness D; (oh wait they added housing stuff to trade in for didn't they? ~kicks self~)

    I'm pretty sure the group I was in would have gotten gold if we had managed to pull off LB .. but our bar wasn't filling like at all >_> so there was no hope on that.

    God, I wish they would fix this. All I can do is spam Succor and hope I'm hitting everyone.

    The Limit Break changes also make it hard to get 2 bars or more before Odin dies even if you have just a couple doublicate classes.

    Hey SE why not throw out some other world content besides FATES. Bring out some HNMs that only one group can claim so we can compete against each other instead of having to complete with server overload.

    No thanks, that 1 group can claim this monster is stupid stuff. I hated it in world of warcraft and I will hate it here. It will just mean that people will be camping it's spot in the hope to get it.

    Exact same thing happened to me... I really wish they gave us some pre-FATEs for Odin/Behemoth... Well, Behemoth already has one I guess... But if around an hour before they spawn proper, we get a series of FATEs leading up to them (feral beasts attack as Behemoth drives them from their homes, Odins Valkyries start popping up in The Shroud, etc), I think that'd be a lot better. It would give people more of an chance to prepare for Odin/Behemoth...

    If I hear "Valkyries are up!" in my Linkshell I'll go "Cool, Odin is coming, I better get ready". Right now I hear "Odin is up" and I either abandon duty instantly and/or miss the FATE...

    Im on PS3 and love the way these fates are handled now. Havent done jack to my system, so its all SE. I can now see and hit Odin and Behemot just fine, altho I usually end up with silver and not gold ;(

    On Masamune, Odin routinely crashes the zone. Often once you manage to reconnect, IF you manage reconnect at all, the zone is rolled back a couple of minutes before he spawned and the whole thing starts all over again, obligatory 90k disconnects included. The zone caps do nothing to stop the zone from being overloaded and crashing and I wonder if SE are just sitting on their hands hoping one day enough people will give up and their problem will be solved for them without having to do anything to fix or review the way fates operate. I know they envisioned fates to be a way for server communities to get together and participate in a bit of open world battle. But in reality all fates are is a mad spam fest for two or three minutes and a fervent hope you did enough damage to get your contribution to gold level.

    Your experiences may vary from server to server, but Masamune being a highly populated server this is pretty much how all popular fates play out be it Odin, Behemoth or whatever season / mission they decided to just jam into a fate to save any real creative design thoughts (Odin is the only fate that I've seen regularly crash its zone however). I really wonder if the 2.0 server structure is that much better than 1.0 at this rate. The limitations and instability being so harshly felt so early into the game are worrying and leave me with a sense of foreboding for future content and the longevity of FFXIV if they don't manage to put a bit more grunt into their servers.

    We had Odin a few days ago on Ragnarok. Fight started 2 times from scratch because their server could not handle the load. We went there as a group of 8 people and everybody got a 90000. After numerous attempts we were able to login again just to see he is gone. This Game is out since 4 months but these 2 FATES are still a complete waste of time and a proof that there is something wrong with SE's technical infrastructure. MMO? What a joke. Call it rather minimum player online.
