    Your experiences may vary from server to server, but Masamune being a highly populated server this is pretty much how all popular fates play out be it Odin, Behemoth or whatever season / mission they decided to just jam into a fate to save any real creative design thoughts (Odin is the only fate that I've seen regularly crash its zone however). I really wonder if the 2.0 server structure is that much better than 1.0 at this rate. The limitations and instability being so harshly felt so early into the game are worrying and leave me with a sense of foreboding for future content and the longevity of FFXIV if they don't manage to put a bit more grunt into their servers.
    Jesus christ, how big are your servers? This problem never happens on Behemoth and we are biggest server NA I believe.

    I like that i can see Odin but i still can't get anything other than a bronze. I do decent damage, the last fight i had with Odin, i did atleast 8k damage and still managed to get only bronze. The fight was only like 10 minutes though. I also really hate how if he even looks in my direction with me as BRD, i'm dead. Randomly being killed while 30 feet from him with no aoe markers kinda sucks.

    This is happening on Excalibur right now (Jan 4, 2014 1745 EST) Three times in a row. Combo's and damage on Odin aren't proc'ing for me and LB meter won't fill up. I thought they fixed this FATE overload nonsense with 2.1?

    We had Odin a few days ago on Ragnarok. Fight started 2 times from scratch because their server could not handle the load. We went there as a group of 8 people and everybody got a 90000. After numerous attempts we were able to login again just to see he is gone. This Game is out since 4 months but these 2 FATES are still a complete waste of time and a proof that there is something wrong with SE's technical infrastructure. MMO? What a joke. Call it rather minimum player online.

    I can't get anything higher then a Bronze on Odin simply because he is still bugged sometimes.

    For 1 thing, sometimes it's as if youre not even in combat. Your HP and MP regen as if youre idle. (tho i dont recall if this happens in all Fates... cant recall right now)
    When you attack him, often time your attacks do not register at all. For example, on BLM i somtimes have to nuke him 3-4 times with Fire 1, for astral fire timer to reset. This shows me my attacks arent being recorded. Sometimes it lasts for the entire duration of Astral Fire, making me lose the buff.
    On a melee Job, often I am unable to combo...at ALL. The hit isnt registering, more glaring when on MNK.

    Something is def wrong when the area is extremely crowded.

    They havent fix'd odin at all, they've just changed the problem. I can now target odin with ease but now i cant target my own party members to heal them. Was banging my head of the wall on the first day "fix", tank was shouting at me to heal him because he was trying to main tank but sorry bro its hard to heal someone thats 1) i cant see and 2) i cant target.

    What a mess.

    I still say what would solve this problem is re-imagine Einhejrar from FFXI - Give him proper raid content.
