Wat you miss when abandoning leves

1) Much higher sp/hr
2) More monatany.... seriously doing the same 6-8 leves every reset every month is boring as all get out

By higher he means astronomically higher SP. Secondly I agree 100% but lets be honest, people abuse this avenue like you wouldn't believe. Hell, there is an LS on my server that religiously does this churning out people with 50 jobs who don't know how to play them. Again, the leve fail absurdity needs to be taken out of the game.

hmmm astronomically higher? let's see if you run the same leve twice and a mob gives 100 sp per kill you get 100 sp for the first run and 100 for the second run for 200 total. if you run it linked with another you get 100 + 60, but have no second run. by linking you actually lose sp overall, but it makes running leves more time efficient than running 64 individual leves with an 8 person party.

horn and hand leves seem like a pretty good way to build up guild marks.

not if you fail all your leves. even if you run the "big 6" and run 2 others that is gaining guild marks at 1/4 of the time as others so, yes, you are giving them up. this was about the failing leves and what do you give up. if you have guild marks on a leve and fail it then you do not get them.

Personally, there's not much satisfying about completing a leve I've done about 200 times already. The SP is a far better reward to me than marks or another umbral moraine. To me the question should be what am I missing out on by NOT failing leves. The answer to that would be the fun of using that class to farm mats for NM gear.

I assume you are talking about Abaddon, hell, of course you are. How would you know if our members know how to play our classes or not? You never party up with us. You just want to find an excuse to hate on the largest LS on the server, but really you should think before you open your mouth.
