If you are using the gil that you and 3 of your friends can save up by leveling 1-50 via the storyline (so 4 people) to buy a house, then that is NOT a personal house. It would be group housing. Which then implies, by your logic, that personal housing can be shared.

So either, we can share personal homes with other players, the 3-4 player level 1-50 savings comment DID refer to FC small housing, or SE expects only 1/4 people to buy personal homes...with donations from their friends who are happy to live out in the cold wet streets for them.

Also, it's probably not just a coincidence that in order to start a FC in the first place you need someone to unlock it and 3 people to sign the petition...or you know, you+3 friends....

Oh, and the ONLY housing SE has shown us thus far, and the only features shown have been those of FC housing...

Where did he ever say the housing price would be 4 people saving the quest gil they got from leveling to 50? He said it would cost around the amount of gil you get from leveling a class to 50 TIMES THREE (so around 500k x 3, since I've heard people say that if you saved most all your quest gil you'd have around 500k at 50). He never said 'four separate people's worth of savings for one house' in the original vid where they talked about housing costs. He was talking about personal house pricing in that vid, not FC houses.

Every statement they ever made about 'FC House Pricing' up until patch 2.1 was just 'It will be based on the economy's gil amounts and we can't say what it will be until the patch releases'. There was never any 'lying about house costs' going on.
